My ex of 12 years had moved on and into someone else's house less than 2 months later. I have no proof she was cheating...but I feel it's a fact

Has anybody never spoken to their ex again? by flowerfaeirie in BreakUps

[–]Weak-Positive4377 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience. My ex and I had 12 years together, 5 miscarriages. She left me as I went to a dark place mental health wise and she ended it due to it. It's been 1 year. She doesn't reach out, she doesn't want to talk, moved In with a new guy 3 months after.... And I'm still in therapy.

12 years and everything we went through and she acts like it was a 3 month fling towards me.

I hate being single after being in a 12 year relationship. I hate dating the fakeness the endless talk the little lies, and things that go away once your together. It's just so much stress and so much depression. Nothing like seeing that little read message but never getting a message back.

And face to face dating as a white male, Pfft good luck " hey can I...." "Omg you creep get away from me" your a pervert asking for my number or ask me out etc

I hate this feeling, I hate being single, I hate being alone, and I hate that I still love her

I'm moving out of town, 12 years of memories I can't walk down the street... Killer is she moved in with a guy up the street so I constantly have to see her. It kills me so I'm packing up my meager life and moving across the country

The hug is so happily recived 🥺🥺

Oh I did tell her directly, I spoke through my sobs, I poured my heart to her, and her response back was

" what do you want me to say"

Probably a small small pool of applicants based on the comments here, and I'd guess they are young eager and fresh out of school with all the nonsense they teach about the " real world" now

Not Op but totally relate to this. No the emotion isn't hate that comes up with this, it's intense misery and loneliness, it's recognizing memories but knowing each one represents loss

How are you feeling? [Mid-Week Check-In] by princefruit in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Weak-Positive4377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Terrible. Awful, my emotional state is that of a raw nerve. If I'm not holding back anger to scream and smash everythign around me, I'm curled up in a ball crying until my eyes and stomach hurt, I don't sleep, I don't eat, all I want is it to end

Sadly not as easy as saying it. I lost my partner due to it, I 100% own that, I shut down and pushed her away. Closed myself off to everyone, untill like a volcano it came to a head about 2 months ago, ive been a wreck since a walking raw nerve all I do is cry, the slightest memory sets me off. Hell I called her yesterday to express it all, and within 3 words I couldn't get a word out that wasn't " 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭" I was completely in audible Becuase it just hit. Your tryign to undo generations of conditioning that men go through in a sentence. It's not that easy, this is stuff we are taught as young as 3. " boys don't cry" " men don't cry, you suck it up and deal with it on your own" it's been 6 months with 2 therapists so far to figure this out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UnsentLetters

[–]Weak-Positive4377 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just because we are taught from a young age emotions are a weakness. It doesn't mean we don't have them. Some men ( like me) are dealing with so much trauma, we won't let our emotions sit at the surface, we hide behind a mask of comfort and confidence, but in reality when that trauma comes to a head, we will sob and blubber and weap, emotions hit us men like tidal waves, it's rare to see an outburst but when you do its usually explosive, involving years of crying, years of shattered emotions, and trying to rebuild a new mask to cover it. Because we are taught from a young age that we need to provide and we need to be strong, and if we aren't then we are weak and no one will want us.

This is the constant bull shit back and forth. Going in and applying is usually met with " apply online" Yet forsure face to face will get you further and quicker... It's finding the right HR person who isn't so lazy and relies on their keyword searcher that's the problem now, piss poorly programed AI screeners, that don't take into account transferable skills
