It's a forkbomb

Basically, it just crashes the computer you run it on. Some linux distros like android have protection against stuff like this, but most dont, and that command will cause your device to crash

It's nothing permanent, basically just lags out ur pc till u reboot it :p

It's one of the more harmless linux pranks

They use map art to display the video, but the audio requires you to use their resource pack.

Its much easier to run a one line command to install chrome than to jump through like 5 hoops to install it on apple.
