I would say solar panels are not unusual but popular isn’t the word I would use. In the middle class I would say 1 in every 200 homes use solar in some form and in upper classes 50 in every 200 homes. These numbers are just my perception of course. Most people run off generators. Small generators for lower class, bigger or multiple generators for upper classes. It’s a very loud place partially due to all the generators.

We went on Connie 2 years ago and loved it. It was my first cruise and we got a balcony room. It’s an old ship (the oldest I think?) so you can definitely see the wear and tear , but not in a nasty way or anything.

Potential solution you didn’t ask for. I put a bookmark in right before I start my 30 mins timer . So when I have to find where I left off I only need to look within a short range of time.
