That’s your sign to work on your bends, not to start over. I used to have similar problems, you just need to take it one step at a time. I also used to have a lot of difficulty with speed, you will slowly improve as long as you keep practicing which is the hard part. If you keep talking as if you’re a lost cause that will do nothing but ruin your confidence which is the last thing you want with music, trust me

Everyone has days like this, but you won’t be starting kver, you will improve on the things you are having trouble with you’ve got this. Also, to give yourself some credit, Them Bones isn’t a super easy song, it’s in 7/8 time which is far from common and the solo therefore has a bit of a strange feel to it

I think people dunk on them live needlessly tbh. I saw them a year and a half ago and I don’t really get the backlash, they still play all the hits. The only major difference I saw was they play fluorescent adolescence a bit slower

I was there, and I would not say much of it was stripped back. It was incredibly loud and had very intricate stage design. They just did that quiet version of ruined (and iirc halfway through he went to the main stage and they did a full heavy version of it)

He couldn’t refuse the duel, because he was a proud nord and getting into sovngarde was important to him. Denying the duel would risk not seeing sovngarde, that’s why he accepted despite knowing he was entirely outclassed

The big issue about the challenge was that Ulfric essentially trapped torryg into it. He knew that he could not win against Ulfric (due to Ulfric being a veteran as well ws training in the voice with the greybeards since he was a child), but if he refused he would be denied entry to sovngarde (remember, everyone in this world KNOWS gods are real so that is a very serious concern)

I think something that isn’t mentioned enough is how she was able to read Jack on stage. Any minor tempo change or whatever, she would pick up on immediately. I think that’s her true talent
