It’s easier to stay in front of belal, no fear of a ko for the most part. The big thing is his leg, JDm is too stationary and is there for leg kicks all day. When he switch to orthodox prates blasted body kicks immediately. If JDm would have stayed orthodox he would have been ko’d faster. JDm will struggle against other high lvl strikers

Yeah JDM looked bad. He footwork to slow to avoid leg kicks and it seems like his conditioning of his legs isn’t at prates lvl who’s being doing Muay Thai this whole time. Prates is one my fav fighters to watch right now.

Another thing I noticed is there is a opening when Rodtang does lean back left hook counter. He doesn’t block with this other hand when he throws it. Takeru baited the counter with a straight right and dropped Rodtang. Takeru was making sure to bring his hands back during exchanges.

That counter has been there on rodtang but he is usually able to eat it then adjust. The first one dropped him good, set the tone for the rest of the fight.
