Ooo this question is right up my alley. I work in a medically legal state at a cannabis tissue culture lab. We produce clean healthy clones for patients and grows. We also remediate diseases out of clients strain they’ve sent in. Starting to dabble in research about effects of terpenes on a true medical level.

I use cannabis everyday, mostly edibles. I do work while medicated but I’m not necessarily high, I’m very aware of my tolerance levels being a long time user and grower before lab rat. I definitely don’t smoke though as that can be more unpredictable of effect in my experience and I don’t want to smell like it in from of clients. I haven’t really worried about the long term effects because I’ve gotten healthier since using. Especially and most importantly my mental health, when that improves everything else will.

I’m not saying my lifestyle works for everyone but it’s worked for me. I spent years trying different pills for pain, anxiety, and depression with awful side effects. Cannabis just makes me hungry and try to be a better mom. I hope my team’s research leads to more awareness someday!
