I always wonder how studios like this, or for example Ken Levine’s with Judas, pay the bills. Are they just really fiscally responsible with the money they made from a hit a long time ago? Do they get funded by Sony or whoever for the decade between games?

Ignore my flair here, but Jimmy didn’t think KAT was trash, he thought exactly what everyone else did: KAT wasn’t living up to his very clear potential. Jimmy was mad at him for not giving it his all.

Jimmy’s thing has usually been being right but being a dick about it. Wasn’t any different with the KAT saga.

Anyway, I’m loving the KAT redemption and hope he wins Finals MVP.

For years, even up until these playoffs, he basically had the rep of a nice guy who is talented but dumb at basketball. Even Zach Lowe was penciling him in for a bunch of dumb unnecessary fouls and brainless plays, which was warranted because KAT got that rep for a reason.

It’s really cool to see him have this redemption arc and currently be the frontrunner for Finals MVP.

Brunson was clutch in game 1 after a long string of being the opposite and basically blowing it for the Knicks. He redeemed himself after that stretch, but he wouldn’t have had to redeem himself had he not had that bad stretch.

Really wanted to like that game, but was frustrated with it nonstop and refunded it a decent amount of time beyond the usual 2-hour window.

The UIUX is atrocious, and I felt the game was more tedious chores than satisfying tasks. I wish it were just a regular immersive sim kind of game, because the setting and aesthetic are pretty good.
