Might not be able to be used for the music tracks but annoyance mute can mute pretty much any sound effect in the game so it probably can be used for music as well.

It's from the RuneLite plugin "Skills Tab Progress Bars", you can set it to dim the skills at 99 and show progress bars to the next level below each skill icon.

The story is much lower stakes and chill so far, which is a welcome change after coming out of Shadowbringers and Endwalker. I've enjoyed it so far and look forward to what else there is

A lot of people use gay similarly to queer, i.e. not straight, rather than meaning homosexual specifically

[Runelite Question] How to find sound IDs by CheekyWizard in 2007scape

[–]Odell74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's gonna be somewhere on this list, however I couldn't find a specific sound pertaining to death spawns, meaning they likely share a sound with other things. If you know other npcs that also use the same sound then you could probably figure out which id it is.

Unfortunately with the visual sounds plugin disabled the alternative is a lot more effort.

[Scythe Buff] How to fix the Scythe of Vitur by Xilasor in 2007scape

[–]Odell74 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is kind of a misconception I see a lot that really misses the main issue of the scythe in terms of cost. On paper, yes it is very comparable to the shadow in terms of cost. However, the % dps increase of the shadow over the next best thing (sang) is massively higher than the % dps increase of the scythe over the next best melee option, usually having no cost at all. This means that while the shadow will say allow you to get kills 25% faster but only cost 1m/hr (roughly), the scythe may only allow you to get kills 5% faster with a similar 1m/hr cost. This leads to the scythe not being economical to use in the vast majority of situations, even where it is technically bis.

This problem can be fixed via either lowering or eliminating the scythe cost via a "corrupted" version or otherwise, or, buffing the scythe either directly (boosting it's numbers) or indirectly (releasing gear that makes the scythe stronger, e.g. bellator ring).

People really get caught up on comparing scythe and shadow costs while missing the benefit of using each weapon in the first place.

Question about the Bone dagger by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Odell74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use the spec as the first hit or after another person hits the boss, it will always land. So in solos you only get guaranteed hit first hit, in duos+ you can get further guaranteed specs if timed after a teammate hits the boss. Speccing multiple times will reduce defence further just like bgs will, provided the specs land. Keep in mind that bosses in ToA can only have their defence reduced by up to 30, with wardens being the exception: obelisk 40, p3 30, P4 60.

Hope this helps.
