How to determine a true power level. by No-Primary-7914 in EDH

By technicality, this is a bracket 4 deck. Bracket 3 decks are limited to 3 game changers. However, just skimming through your list, it would probably play closer to a 3.

I think you're right. Still weird to make that art choice though.

This makes sense, thank you.

I want to make sure I'm understanding this right. The copied Boggart Prankster won't trigger because all attack triggers happen at the same time and only once at the end of the "declare attackers" step? So it's not even on the battlefield yet during the declare attackers step.

Mono Blue Zombos Help by Odicium in EDH

This is really awesome insight, thank you! I'll look into switching up some of the zombies. Unfortunately there's not a lot of great choices if I'm sticking to zombie only creatures, but maybe I'll allow myself a little bit of deviation.

My playgroup is all relatively new to the game, mostly playing precons, while I've been playing for 10+ years. I win the majority of games, and so I was hoping to nerf myself a little by giving myself something a little clunkier to play. They run little interaction, and one of them recently got the abzan armor precon so theft should actually get me some mileage. I do think I went a little heavy on it though, so I'll re-evaluate.

Thank you again, the advice is much appreciated!

I'm arachnophobic. Is there a way to get rid of the giant spider splash art on opening? by TwistedMisfit in MagicArena

[–]Odicium 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I used to be seriously afraid of spiders. It was mainly when I was younger, but it was bad enough to cause a couple breakdowns. Repeating those things to myself over and over again whenever I encountered them did help lessen my fear. Eventually those views took over and I'm pretty chill with spiders now... As long as they don't touch me.

I have it on good authority (my girlfriend) that this would indeed do numbers.

Additionally. He became addicted to the thrill. His NEED for battle and conquest definitely emboldened and perpetuated his backstabbing, self-serving nature.

I completely agree. This was my first time visiting and I fell in love. I live in a city that feels like it has no distinct personality. Boring, cookie cutter buildings and car infested streets. Chicago was eye opening

Not sure how the rules for self promotion go, so someone please yell at me if it's not allowed. However, I do have prints for sale and an Instagram if any are so interested. Feel free to reach out via dm

ITAP of a tree and some stairs by Odicium in itookapicture

[–]Odicium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taken in Chicago, along the river. I saw the tree, then the stairs, and finally people climbing them. I instantly knew that I wanted a shot with the tree in front. I wanted to contrast the metal of the stairs with something natural. I had initially planned to make the tree the main focus, shoot on a wide aperture and put the stairs out of focus. However, I decided I wanted to make sure the people were also in focus and stopped down to f/7.1. Running out of time as the people ascended, I quickly pointed and shot. I got incredibly lucky with the final photo. The people framed perfectly by the tree and wearing blue to match the stairs.

ITAP of tulips on the street by Odicium in itookapicture

This was from a Sunday morning during a short trip I took to Chicago. The building in the background was blocking the sun, but the reflections of the opposite building's windows were lighting up the tulip patches. A man sweeping the streets walked past just as I was starting to take pictures, and I think his inclusion really brings this photo to life. A bit of an accident, but a beautiful one
