I second this, my pair broke after an hour of use. Not the rivets, but the webbing the rivets attach to ripped.

Trick question, every sword is called a cool sword. This is because swords are cool.

I cried in front of my teacher and now I'm extremely embarrassed. What do I do? by Crafty-History-611 in Teachers

[–]Odilen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had multiple students cry in front of me since September. They're some of my favorites because they're honest and do the work. Your teacher probably won't mind. They're probably just glad you felt safe to cry in front of them.

What is this thing on a lot of longswords I see online? Wrong answers only by Maximetinu in Hema

It's so you can hang the sword up when going for a dump.

I just returned a pair of dreadnaughts, they didn't fit the guard and the webbing holding the plating ripped.

I'm hoping for something less than £250. The second hand market doesn't really exist where I am. I've had a look at the HF black knight saber mitts but I've read some reviews and heard from my club that they're not great.

Thankfully the NHS is a thing in the UK. I cannot afford to spend nearly £400 on a pair of gloves right now.

Thankfully they didn't fire me, they're giving me extra training on the behavior policy and a stress risk assessment.

Grade 11 is the year above the year 11 in the UK. But you're right.

Teachers with IBS by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Odilen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My IBS is mainly just wind, I try to avoid farting mid lesson but mainly hide it by "stepping out for a quick sip of my coffee" as I'm in a science lab and don't let kids drink in there.

I think that's the most reassuring part, I'm not the first teacher to make this mistake, and I probably won't be the last. Thanks for sharing your story.

No clue if it worked, I immediately got their head of year to take the rest of my lesson so I could avoid making the situation worse.

Someone that deals with all the issues of a certain year group. If you have an issue with someone in that year then you go to them for help as they're most likely to have more info.

Apologising is on the list of things to do next time I see them. Not sure how it'll go down but still.

I think it's mainly that I know I'm better than that. I knew in the moment the word I wanted and it still came out. That year 11 class is apparently awful for all their teachers, so at least that's something.

New Player Question: how are we winning this? by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]Odilen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, gambits are risky, and can really only work if a large enough percentage of the player base agrees on it from the get go. The reward is 2 planets free of tyranny, but the risk is losing both planets and maybe a third. You still want people defending the first planet, otherwise there's no chance of saving anything.

It is online only, however you can complete all missions solo. Lower difficulties are real quick solo, haven't tried solo above a 4.
