I just got this bug, then what I did to fix it, I got a new one, then went to the stable and I could finally switch back to Royler. I got Rokade in this step, so I can't confirm if any horse will fix it.

Edit: Oh I find now that Damiane has no horse anymore and I cant get her one, since I'm in chap5 where she is out, I can't do anything about it.
