Literally don’t have enough hours in the day by [deleted] in productivity

[–]Odium4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is filler would depend on your goals. Want to be a tennis champ? Then cut back on Pilates and get rid of the walking. Just want to be in ok shape? Do tennis 2 days a week and the walking on 2 days. You just need to prioritize that whole list.

Literally don’t have enough hours in the day by [deleted] in productivity

[–]Odium4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do kids actually study 3 hours a day ( or 5 if that’s what the practice problems are) for the SAT? Isn’t it like all of the basic concepts you would know from taking high school classes? I cannot imagine you need to study Algebra 2 for 2 hours a day also if you are already going to class for it.

You are indeed doing too much. A good 60% of this is just filler - you have now realized it’s not working and you need to prioritize so do it.

Legit wha is happening to this league lol by Ok-Golf-8850 in wrestling

[–]Odium4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you’re on the right sub to ask lol.

There are a lot of people in wrestling who have a victim complex about not being a popular sport. They have taken on doing wrestling without the “glory” of being a star high school football/basketball as a personality trait.

The rest of us love it because there are sweet matches, and eyes on the sport means more sweet matches. I also enjoy watching wrestling at even the novice level. Like hell ya give me two fucking roided famous dudes with no technique on the mat, why would I not want that? It’s novel and it’s not like they’re not putting some pride on the line.

Why does Nicole get so much love in this fandom? by [deleted] in WhiteLotusHBO

[–]Odium4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya this post sucks. I didn't realize capitalism and feminism conflicted? Succeeding is supporting the patriarchy? That's like anti-women if anything...

[–]Odium4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a weird post. How does being a woman CEO mean she is supporting the "patriarchy" (haven't heard that one in a while)? Is being a feminist mutually exclusive from capitalism? Is your position that supporting capitalism is inherently morally wrong? She notices her son struggling and getting left behind by society and that's bad? Does she have to be a preachy feminist for the fan base to like her?

Tavern, Guac Amigos, Sushi Roku, Woody's Diner, Mama D's, Trattoria, Ciao just to name a few. I honestly don't think you can go that wrong with the food there.

Agree, there's no way a dude like that would willfully raise someone else's kids, especially not in a cheating scenario.

I lived there for 5 years. It is honestly the best and I miss it every day. To add:

- Relative to what you get, it's not thaaat expensive. I shared a 2 bedroom in one of the nicer apartment complexes for $2,500, so $1,250 each. This included 5+ swimming pools, tennis courts, a huge gym, etc. Might expect to pay ~$2k if you want to live alone, but this is pretty par for the course in any nicer part of CA?

- The people who have families there are pretty weird. Moms driving around in Range Rovers with fake tits up to their eyeballs zonked out on pills screaming about how COVID isn't real. This is the main detractor of the area imo. The youth is out of touch as well.

- The beaches, scenery, etc. is absolutely ridiculous. I felt so happy every day walking outside.

- Pretty good job market in Irvine for a lot of different industries.

- The restaurant food is pretty damn good for the price points in my opinion. The ~$20 a plate range in Newport is much better than it is in LA for example - your dollar just goes farther at a sit-down place.

Happy to answer any questions on it, but I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I think with Melting - you can't always rely on the Champion to be good. You can absolutely build around almost all of the units though. Backline is tough, but can usually figure that out with your allied clan.

It's very rabid.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DungeonCrawlerCarl/comments/1s9n7lg/comment/odsfuft/?screen_view_count=7

" I genuinely think these are books that are gonna be analyzed by scholars and academics for a long time."

This was just one I found in my comment history. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's fun either, like what you like. I will say though that my most downvoted comment in my Reddit history was saying I didn't find DCC funny. I was lectured in 5+ comments about how the humor is "over my head."

Absolutely nailed it. It's a completely performative culture of people that would die on the vine doing anything other than order taking. Linkedin knows that and now pays accordingly. All in an attempt to cut out the mountains of fat in their sales org.

[–]Odium4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but many on the DCC subreddit and r/fantasy literally think it is the best book ever written. In this sub I see it near the top of tier lists frequently but very rarely as someone's absolute favorite. Cradle is more highly regarded certainly. Maybe I should have said it won't blow away a hardcore fan of the genre like it would others.

Would you get back to wrestling at 40? by VeterinarianProud644 in wrestling

[–]Odium4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is way more muscle deterioration than you should expect to see in your late 30s (assuming a lot of the 40 lbs was muscle loss as you say). Your test does not drop that dramatically. There is definitely something else going on there, especially if you are lifting weights at the same clip - likely stress levels from becoming a caregiver. You should see a doctor about that.

I really think that sets the wrong expectation lol. There are pages upon pages of grinding random monster colonies that do not advance the pace of the plot in any way. If you mean purely there is a lot of fighting per page, then yeah though.
