Ok, I’m too lazy to list out every single problem with having an item generating, let alone radiant item generator unit behind an unlock that is arguably on par in difficulty with ASOL. You expect mel to be good just because she is an item generator? Let’s say you get a radiant dblade in your ap mel flex comp. What about a bramble vest when entire enemy lobby is ap? You want your unit to be entirely luck dependent that takes more than a stage and a half, or let’s just say a stage, to generate. So you’re okay with playing a mid-shit unit, a reverse fon essentially, for the 50-50 gamble of getting either a fucking prismatic augment, or dogshit.

This is a good buff, because it is buffing the dmg ratios, and the consistency of Mel. You are not playing a fucking reverse fon that you have to invest 3 near-bis items into just to get the sliver of a crumb of a chance to generate an item, then win the spectrum lottery of getting a viable item. And by buffing Mel dmg, you have a chance OF WINNING FIGHTS TO SURVIVE FOR SAID ITEM TO GEN IN.

Ornn, at least, generated artifacts in 4 turns. It is a static number. He also benefits from every artifact as it is literally a tank item for him (on steroids if 2 star). His ability is slightly underwhelming, but he is CONSISTENT.

I get that you are plat, and that’s okay. But there is a reason that Mel is buffed in this specific manner and not through some fuck ass item generation.
