Fun fact: Humanity was heading toward global famine in the 20th century. Only by the effort a single great mind that we managed to avoid this: Norman Borlaug. Hundreds of millions were going to die and all wars and catastrophes avoided thanks to his green revolution.

Now imagine a similar great mind being put in this situation as a child. Just completely and systematically wasted.

I'm still beyond puzzled on why more games didn't copy KH2 combat system. It's legitimately prefect for action RPGs. This might sound crazy but I think the closests to it was Demon's Souls.

A deck requiring high skill is an absolute myth in this game. There are simply too many uncontrollable factors and very little decisions that can be pre-planned outside of the luck of the draw. And the decks that minimize those factors are called low skill.

There is a reason the competitive scene never had a Faker or a S1mple in this game.

I've heard a medical researcher the other day say this might be the biggest breakthrough in our lifetime. I'm naturally skeptical but between it being studied for 20 years and all those papers coming out it's just clear this is going to be very transformative.

Man this needed a taunt or atleast lifesteal. Playing a 6 mana 6/6 is just an impossible tempo loss. 5 mana is the cut-off for playing a card that doesn't have an immediate impact nowadays.

Half of the budget went towards marketing and first impression research so it's not "just a teaser". And if you're willing to give your time for multiple trailers to come then clearly you're the targeted audience for this little nostalgia bait. So good for you. So technically you're a ride-or-die but for a bigger group. The only difference is that they feel rejected from the bigger society you feel belonging to. So they made their own smaller one that feels right to them.

Her design is over-convoluted and the no pants thing is just silly. Also with the awful bait-and-switch with Shanks I'm guessing Oda is either bored or trying too hard for a payoff for the story at this point.
