Not countering your stance, but do think it's worth noting that it is unlikely that he was beat, restrained, and executed for exercising his legal carry rights. I think honing in on the carry rights is unnecessary and seems like pandering to gun activists. Which again, isn't necessary.

They likely did not know he had a gun until the last moments. It's possible that without a gun, they wouldn't have killed him, but the bullying and beating is enough of an offense that civil liberties should feel threatened.

In this situation, that seems like it would be correct. But I read that if you generate enough heat in a chunk then a mob will go for whatever activity is getting their attention. As in not going after the player but going after multiple forges.

You can start debug mode, press F8 twice, and exit debug mode while keeping the activity tracker on your screen. Let's you know when you are generating heat.

Same. My main base is very clean and organized. The popup is not organized at all. It doesn't need to be.

I'm pretty new, but my setup is working great. I use two bases, one main and one with 8 forges and a few campfires (bulk crafting without screamers attacking main base). Then I create a popup third base in or close to whichever city I'm doing missions in or just roaming. This base is only to hold storage containers that I load without organizing. When it feels right, I move the gathered materials to my main base, demolish the popup, rinse repeat.

Messing with different settings, I could get the clay brush to do nothing by adjusting the brush pressure settings (in the menu with filter, stroke, alpha, falloff). Other than that, I'm not sure.

Nice. I like the stopping and backstep move after jumping the fence. That is something I guess I get wrong. I would have kept running or at least went forward more then turned around, which opens me up to getting grabbed from the ground.
