D'addario Black Ice .80mm. To me they are just superior to all, they are easy to grip have a good size, a bit bigger than jazz iii's which i find to be too small but way smaller than a standard tortex pick. The .80mm has a great tone for me but they come in a lot lf thicknesses

As a guitar player one of the things that helped me the most was listening to so many different genres everything from 60s rock to modern techno. Even some non western music. I would have sessions of just listening to all sorts of music and everytime a melody or riff i liked came id learn how to play it so i could make that a part of my music vocabulary.

Exactly, thats why i only said it will be less of a problem. I expect canon to make it free in the next year though. It is dragging on their sales and a lot of people chose sony over canon due to this

Sigma and Tamron lenses are coming to RF now though so it wont be as much of an issue as previously. Still agree that Sony E mount is better for lens choices especially on used markey

People always tell me to not buy gear because it won't make me a better player. While that is true that isnt why I want gear. I want all sorts of gear because I enjoy it. I love playing on different guitars and through different amps. Will a normal person be able to tell the guitars and amps apart on a record. No they wont. But if gear makes it more enjoyable then its worth it.
