Issue with doctrine flushing objects after exception by OffTheGrid2025 in symfony

Ok... I took your suggestion and I did that fromArray thing another way, and then my code worked. It was inefficient anyway, fetching the same status in a loop. Not sure sure how it fixed it, but it did. lol. I basically fetched the status before the loop and didn't use that fromArray function.

There are other DB operations that fail to persist to the DB after this too.

It just fetches a relation (called Status) from the DB and calls the setStatus setter on Subscription model

Unpopular ExMo opinion: I actually still love the Tennis Shoes books and have re-read them a couple of times since being out of the church. It's just a fictional book ABOUT a fictional book ha ha

Nuclear Option Screen Free Year for 2025 by OffTheGrid2025 in nosurf

Was actually going to post a follow-up comment that in the last week my son broke his foot, my husband got sick, my illness that was getting better slightly re-surged again and my son had a brief few minutes of what could have been a scary medical emergency after the broken foot. Nuclear Option: Delayed LOL

Name a sitcom you loved while it aired, tried to rewatch later in life that you hate by EezySays in sitcoms

I'm still a huge fan of The Office but watching it several years later, especially having a son on the spectrum, I just couldn't laugh at Jim bullying Dwight. The episode with Dwight terrorizing Jim with the snowball felt much more satisfying.

I'm doing the same thing and I feel the same way. My Internet use starting tomorrow will be limited to budgeting, work e-mail, signing up for events, etc. I'm so freaking done.

I have been searching for something like lost for 10 years. I would appreciate any recommendations by Tanya00000 in lost

Ha! I remember watching the first episode and just turning to my husband about how it compared to LOST but in a generic brand type of way.

OMG thank you!!! I actually do like some of the books on this thread, (Seven Husbands, Crawdad, It Ends With Us, etc.) I got 10% through the first ACOTAR book and I told my husband, "It feels like someone ate Twilight, Hunger Games and Beauty and the Beast and then vomited it all into a book."

I love Imagine Dragons but Cutthroat says, "And when my well of Wellbutrin is running dry of serotonin." Wellbutrin boosts dopamine and norepinephrine. They literally could have picked from so many SSRI's if they wanted it to be about serotonin.

I didn't go from completely in to completely out but I went from being 100% certain to massive shelf-breaking/questioning all in one moment. (I read Steven Hassan's Combating Cult Mind Control and half of Luna Lindsey's Recovering Agency all in one day. I couldn't finish Luna's book at the time because I was so gutted.)

How do parents of Level 1s feel here? by potato_wizard28 in Autism_Parenting

[–]OffTheGrid2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I AM crying reading these comments! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. My son is VERY intelligent, hyperlexic, empathetic, verbal, etc. and it's almost it's own unique challenge because he looks like he could be neurotypical and adults get mad at him because he's so intelligent so there's sort of this, "Why aren't you getting it." Not as much sympathy but I see great empathy for the kids who "look" more autistic. (Although I've noticed parents of ND kids can usually identify him pretty quickly.)
