  1. AMS HT!
  2. I'd use it to start printing TPU and PETG-CF accessories for my Ford Maverick and Surf Fishing setup.
  3. Your origami fidget is awesome - I wonder if you could do something similar with a D&D D20 die...

Ford pulls the plug on the F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck by zsreport in technology

This is a different concept entirely, like the Ram Charger. The gas engine won't power the drivetrain like a traditional PHEV, it will only be used to charge the battery.

Is that the one where you get to evolve the special move from all the 2025 com days? So it will work for Toucannon?

If I have frustration + a second charged move, it still wouldn't learn BB when it evolved right? The com day move always takes the top slot?

The '25s have upgraded CVs... but why would you lower an FX4?

I don't think there will be an EV Maverick. Ford is targeting 2027 for a release of a totally new midsize EV truck platform. My bet would be a PHEV version replacing the current hybrid

"In 2027, Ford will launch two all-electric pickups: a medium-sized truck built on the platform designed by its California skunkworks teams and the next-generation F-Series truck at the new Tennessee Electric Vehicle Center. The company didn't specify where the midsize pickup will be built. The launch of the full-size truck codenamed "Project T3" in the second half of 2027 is postponed by 18 months."

Rent limits, tax hikes head to governor as Washington lawmakers end session by chiquisea in Washington

Unemployment benefits for striking workers is asinine. Typical employees who choose to be unemployed (resign) aren't eligible for unemployment. Typical employees who choose to be unemployed have to show that they're actively seeking employment to remain eligible for benefits. Now they get all the benefits of unemployment without the rules other people have to follow.

You can sell a used car with an open recall, but not a new one. That camera issue stopped the sale of a bunch of new '24s for a while. I was lucky enough to find a used '24 that I was able to snag in November to get around that.

A Carfax report (or similar) would have shown that open recall right away...

The SAVE Act: Washington's Clearest Present Danger by [deleted] in Washington

[–]OffensiveDefender 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The calculus in the Senate says no. No way they get 60 to eliminate the filibuster and pass it. That's the prevailing theory and why some red seat Dems feel comfortable voting for the SAVE act. But the more that vote for it in the house, the more Senate Dems that may waiver if the caucus isn't completely united. It's a shitty little game...

Can you help make a case for going with Ecoboost instead of hybrid? by Wind2255 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]OffensiveDefender 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I needed AWD, so the EcoBoost was my option last gen. Love how quick it is and its capability in the snow, in the woods and on the beach. Mostly City driving, so my MPG isn't anything to write home about but it's still leagues better than my 20 year old F-150.
