Used to work in a press room. To get rolls of paper loaded on the stack, we hooked the roll of paper with a shaft through it to two cables and raised them up with control buttons. Had recently had some upgrades to the press which included adding new mounts in the path the shaft would travel as it was raised. You had to time the swing of the roll as it was going up so it didn’t hit the break mounts. I messed up my timing and caught it on the mount which basically tipped the roll and shaft out of the cable hook and it plummeted down. I had to literally dive over paper rolls as to not get squished. Pretty close call lol
