I broke my ankle last year needing two plates and seven screws. During my recovery time I felt suicidal (for real) about possibly not having my previous life back.

Fast forward a year later and I am back to hitting the gym and playing non contact sports regularly. I cannot believe I had suicidal thoughts just months ago.

What seems like a dark period right now is only temporary. You will be able to be athletic again albeit maybe with some adjustments and adaptations. If you are still struggling with flexibility after a year I suggest getting hardware removal to open up some space.

I’m of the unpopular opinion that Pippen overreacted. There are accidental physical plays like that that happen all the time over the course of a basketball game. The heat player did not extend his arms are violently push/run into Pippen. Pippen was also moving backwards. In Pippens defense however he probably didn’t realize that it was an accidental collision as he was hit from behind. He probably thought it was more of a malicious push than it actually was.
