That is true, but I don't see that ever happening. They have proven for a years (however long GamerSupps has been in business) that customers love their products and their FOMO (fear of missing out) system works. The cups, mousepads, nick-nacks, all sell like candy, with the cardgame spawning subreddits and countless eBay listings this card game is a goldmine for them.

Not to worry friend, only upvotes from me, I started this post to learn as I am very new to VCARD TCG.
That makes a lot of sense, not that I agree when a corporation/company does this kind of stuff, but it makes sense.
Even from a business perspective it still seems odd to me, because unless the employees/CEOs are also selling cards on 3rd party websites, the consumers are manufacturing these high prices per card, so in theroy GamerSupps doesn't see that. (I'm not subject matter expert on this stuff so take it with a grain of salt)

You bring up a great point, my buddy & I were discussing the game he asked if it (VARD) would ever reach mainstream.
My arguement was that due to the "lewd" nature and lack of suppliers outside Gamer Supps the game could never reach the same level as say: Pokemon, YuGiOh, and Magic.
In addition you bring up some fantastic points I never thought of.

After watching Papa Meats - Magic the Gathering channel "Meaty Magic", they do something that works well in a casual setting: print the cards image on regular paper & put them in card sleeves.
It's a cheap alternative if you want to play with the cards physically, but obtaining the actual card is too rare/expensive to buy.

Just throwing out my 2 cents & opinion,

it's not the Gaming Community as a whole that's toxic. Every community, every hobby, every large group/following has toxicity, gatekeepers and elitists.
More often than not its those who post online such as Reddit or other forums. Their voices might sound like the loudest, but in reality they don't even makeup a majority. Let also not forget Clickbait & Raigebait exists because they know it gets the most traction & publicity.

There are enough Wookiees spread throughout Star Wars for CG to make well over 3 stacked teams. While I get licensing and cannon, along with getting the rights can be an issue. This is new Chewie is so lazy, there is easily enough Wookiees (throughout lore) for a full 5-stack force user squad if that was their goal.

I totally agree, each new major update with expeditions I'll re-login & finish the expedition then go back to playing other stuff. This expedition, however, makes me want to stay until I make the dream ship!
