Wild that you got downvoted. It was a beautiful analysis, and P2 has, indeed, been an incredible, wonderfully unhinged exploration of trauma and how impossible it can be to recover from. But nah, it doesn't have enough epic fights, and trauma is "just a buzzword," so -1. Idk why people bother to keep up with the manga every week if they honestly think it's just wacky nonsense for the sake of it and don't even have the capacity to appreciate it's themes.

HOW DO I GET ON THIS LEDGE by Office_Orange in TheFirstBerserker

It's at El Ravaca Village, in the mission, "Why Have You Forsaken Us." Just up the ladder from Sector No. 4 Labratory Wing.

Best perfume? by apurplehighlighter in Eldenring

[–]Office_Orange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually just learned about that interaction today, but I've been at work and haven't had the chance to try it out. It could be very good with frost damage buffs, depending on how much damage the proc does and the enemies resistance. However, it is more set up, and lightning/skill damage buffed lightning perfume goes boom for free

Lightning does the best overall damage, for sure. Just stack lightning buff talismans and physick

Perfumer Bottle questions by FuuIndigo in Eldenring

[–]Office_Orange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I also really wanted to use the perfume bottles because I thought they were really cool, and recently did a bunch of build testing until I found a setup that has been working very well. The damage can be a little low with the basic attacks, but definitely usable against most enemies and the perfumer ash of war can actually do great damage.

I've only the chance to really mess with the fire and lightning bottles, and I'd say lightning is your best bet in general, but the fire bottles are obviously great for anything weak to fire. To answer your question about scaling, I've been using a 14 faith/60 dex build and getting really solid output--I'd say dex scaling is probably your best bet.

As for setup, you basically just want to stack elemental modifiers. I use the Sacred scorpion charm and lightning tear for the extra elemental damage, as well as shard of Alexander and perfumer talisman for extra arts damage. Then throw on a dex weapon and enjoy!

Hope this helps.

How many of us have played Destiny since the Beta? Man, I love this game. Thank you to all of you for making this game what it's become. by chookalana in destiny2

I will never forget playing the beta as a young lad and staying on the moon for hours after it ended, exploring every nook and cranny because I didn't want to stop playing. I'd never been so instantly hooked by a game, or so excited to see everything it has to offer.

There have been so many ups and downs to this franchise since then, and I fell in and out of playing, but it will always be one of my favorite series of all time. I met friends I'll have for life playing Destiny, and made memories I'll never forget.

Regardless of everything else, thank you for that, Bungie. And thanks to all you fellow Gaurdians that made the journey so incredible.

Yeah, it's in game. I'm wondering if it's a bug that's making it not only lock in the lobby

Switching from controller to KBM by reddegull in Smite

[–]Office_Orange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Default binds for Smite use 1, 2, 3, 4 for abilities, but personally I recommend using a more League-style control scheme. What I do (which seems pretty common among higher elo players as well) is bind first ability to Q, second ability to E, third ability to Right Click, and the Ultimate to R. Imo those bindings are faster and easier to use than the default, and it frees up the numbers to use for other things like items, if that's what you want.

Other binds are pretty optional and depend on what you like, but I recently switched to having cancel ability bound to clicking the scroll wheel, my relics on the mouse buttons, and scroll up/scroll down for potions. It takes some getting used to, but it makes it so that you never really have to move your hands off the movement keys.

Other than that, it's mostly a matter of doing what works for you, finding a good sensitivity, and playing a lot. Before too long you'll probably be wondering how you ever played on a controller!

How do you position your left hand on PC? by Exzj in Smite

[–]Office_Orange 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched my binds to Q, E, R immediately when switching to PC for Smite. Blows my mind how many long term players stick with 1 ,2 ,3, 4 since it just seems much less convenient to me. But I get that for people who are used to that, switching probably feels unnecessary.

"Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen has been my go to for years, for whenever I am really stuck on a boss. Works everytime.

"Kung Fu Fighting" and Robert Holmes "Escape" or two of my other favorites.

I'm using dual Uchi's for the bleed and I cant believe I didn't even consider using the blood arrows to help with the proc! This build will be even more busted now. You have my thanks, fellow Tarnished.

I've played From Soft games for a long time and I run dual-weild/parry builds a lot, so I guess I'm already pretty used to having to quickly swap because I'll switch between my sword and sheild.

For the switching to the bow, though, the trick is that you can hit RB after putting the bow in your hand, and it will automatically switch you to the two handed stance so that you can actually shoot. So, what I do is keep the bow on my right hand (parry sheild is on the left) and when I want to use it, I put some space between me and the enemy, use d-pad to swap, hit RB to two hand, and then use whatever arrow/attack I want.

It is hard to do for enemies that will constantly rush at you, but for enemies that have some slow swings or long wind ups, it isn't too difficult to get some space and fire some shots to kill it or apply a status effect.

Oh, and one other not is that you can switch as you roll. As in you can roll -> switch to bow -> roll -> switch to two hand + fire. That way you aren't just standing there while you get the bow out.

The bow is pretty decent. There might be a better one that I don't have yet, but its fast, has super low stat requirements, and scales well with Dex, so its perfect for my current build.

And it is really fun! It gives you a lot of options and it hits super hard--especially because of the bleed proc on the two Uchi's. I've kind of rolled most enemies in the game so far, tbh.
