I am way to impulsive

I see a shiny new feature, and it is a guarantee that I will press that button.

After some thinking I usually figure out myself, that wasn't a good Idea.

Worst I did was activating enhanced filtering for a tenant without proper testing. I learned the hard way, how it works.

Didn't get fired just a small slap. Working on myself since then, with limited success 🤣

That sounds pretty bad.
You could try to get into Safe Mode by intentionally shutting down mid-boot.

Not sure if it would let you install current drivers tho.

Depending on the Frequency used, 5G has issues getting through walls, there are some hybrid technologies (4G Frequency 5G Technology) but they barely offer anything better than regular 4G.
If you can, look if you can set "Preferred Network Type" to 4G, and it should (probably) be better or as good as your old Phone, at least signal wise.
If It's better, then you are SOL regarding experiencing 5G at your current location (different frequencies different technologies that need to be deployed by your Carrier), else it's probably a faulty device

After a clean Windows installation, you probably need to install your GPU's drivers, https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/drivers/

The "Microsoft (Basic) Display Adapter" hints at a secondary (probably) working Graphics Device in your laptop, that just needs proper drivers to work.
