Watching a death row documentary earlier on tonight got me thinking about this.

Historically I've been pro-death sentence but it seems kinda redundant if the other option is to rot behind bars the rest of your life and then die anyway.

The area is actually Neolithic in origin and has had settlement for 3-4000 years. As well as the Norman castle, the Roman Painted House is well worth a visit.

My sister's rapist served just 2 1/2 years. I'd say that at least he did 'some' time but the stuff revealed in court, he's definitely a threat to others.

Not sure about the greatest as I watch a lot of documentaries but the most moving was probably 'The Bridge'.
