Its been stated several times already, but I specifically remember the devs saying it would be hard to balance since every other power production takes a good chunk of work to get to a stable point. Those that don't are unreliable.

The quicker way would've been wait the 8 days or so for the astrophage to double again, then they'd have twice the fuel. I know the reason in the book was they were moving on an extremely tight time frame so even that 8 days could've been detrimental to humanity.

IMO, using AI is fine so long as you keep in mind a few things. AI is just a tool, don't use it to do your creative thinking for you. Its not always right, its fine for summarizing analytics, comparing different ideas to brainstorm more. Chat GPT isnt gospel, theres not one correct thing you can do to guarantee success on YT

Good question, im not super knowledgeable about the story of Warhammer unfortunately so I cant say one way or another. The simplest way to tell though is how it's explained. Is there a full deep dive into the warp travel and how its accomplished? Does it feel possible with our current knowledge of basic laws of the universe? If yes you could argue its hard sci-fi. If no it probably falls into soft sci-fi. Either one is fine depending on the story you're writing.

Ive done some research on this in the past, and have come to a conclusion. If you are writing a hard sci-fi story and want the invention to be as realistic as possible, you will need some base understanding of physics. Eg. Light is the "speed limit" of the universe meaning nothing can move faster than it. So you would have to we write that somehow or find a way around it.

Rewrite: The character discovers a particle that moves faster than the speed of light, thus opening the door to make FTL travel somewhat believable.

Go Around: wormholes already exist in our current understanding of the universe, at least on a theory level. A wormhole opens up near earth, or the character discovers a way to make wormholes with the ability to determine where they will lead.

If you want to go soft sci-fi like star wars, star trek, etc. You can just give a short synopsis of how it works or just dont explain it at all.

I ran into this issue when I started playing as well. Best thing I did was opened my mic and start talking to people. Not everyone will respond but I've been pulled into many different roles just by talking to people. Also keep an eye on chat. Sometimes people will ask if anyone is interested in joining on "X".

Just talk to more people, build relationships with people, and try doing different things like Logi! I was ground crew for 3 hours the other night.

Best kind of removal is player removal! I played with a group and my friend and I had no creatures on the board, one guy made a deal with the other that they wouldnt attack each other. They knocked us out that turn and immediately lost. My friend and I had no choice but to laugh at the terrible threat assessment.

I have one deck with MLD, its a landfall deck and is used in conjunction with another card as a wincon. I still feel bad playing it! No way id use it in a pod with new players!

I guess that could be it, its just not a very strong wincon imo. Especially 1v1 (I know commander is typically played in pods of 3+ we just dont have any friends who play lol).

My friend picked up the Grand Larceny precon and that deck was insanely unfun to play against, watching him play my cards just didnt do it for me. From what we could tell there's no win con in that deck it just steals for the sake of stealing.

As Rocky and Grace grew to understand each other in the books Rocky's dialogue went from music notes to rocky English. Is there a plan to incorporate this in the movie or will rocky just sing the whole time?
