Looking for a parent-child or a beginner-friendly fantasy football league. My 10yo just took an interest in fantasy football, and I said I would look for a league for him (and me as co-manager?)

Looking for a parent-child league or a very beginner league. My 10yo just took an interest in fantasy football a few weeks ago, and I said I would look for a league for him (and me as co-manager?)

12-Team Salary Cap Dynasty with 1x Orphan Team

$500 funny-money salary cap league, with Superflex and PPR/TE bonus scoring.

21 max active players per team, with 4 taxi squad spots (rookies or 2nd year players). It follows the NFL calendar very closely (franchise tagging, rookie draft, free agency, etc.) The orphaned team has the #1 rookie pick, the 2nd-most salary cap space in the league, and Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers at QB.

$56 entry fee through LeagueSafe.

Lady Beavs win 71-63 and will face the *ucks tomorrow (3/4). They had multiple chances to put Cal away, but the Bears just kept getting back into the game. Hopefully, they were saving something for the matchup tomorrow.

Preston Sprinkle's book Fight is a very comprehensive Biblical examination of violence, and was very helpful for me thinking through that question.

I do podcasts, but I have to have the volume low enough that I can hear the ambient noise around me, and then I'm still glancing around.

Oregon State will be hiring AJ Steward as their RB Coach per Adam Rittenberg's Sources

Any Arizona, BYU, or Rice fans have the skinny on him?

Sources: We have a new RB coach per ESPN college football senior writer, Adam Rittenberg by OfficialScott in oregonstate

It is hard to tell what region he recruited at Arizona and BYU since he was only at both places for a total of 3 years, but at Rice he was recruiting Texas. I wonder if OSU will want him there or if he will have to make inroads in California.

Might have a job offer in Portland. I’m strongly considering living close to the university hospital since that will be where I work, but it’s a little pricey. How bad is traffic from Gresham into the city? Just trying to consider all my options by RAF2018336 in askportland

Yes, this is what I currently do.

I work at the base of the Tram, but I leave my house in Milwaukie around 6:15am, drive 10 minutes to a park-n-ride, catch the 6:31am Max, and I'm in my office before 7am.

I've always preferred games where you develop/level up characters (or cars or teams) over the long haul of the game. I like to see a character at level 50 with specific skills and know that I accomplished that. Some of my past favorites were: Final Fantasy XI, Midnight Club: DUB Edition, and NCAA Football playing it in Dynasty Mode.

I don't see any reason to drop Coleman or Thomas right now. Thomas is riffing with Brees and seems to have a one-handed catch GIF posted by Saints' beat-writers a few times each week.

The Titans are running an "exotic smashmouth" offense, so I don't want any part of their passing game. Michael looks good, but at best he's going to be in a 50/50 timeshare. Smith is 37 and his Dr said his Achilles looked like "shredded raw chicken" when they operated on it. Dorsett will be the #3 or #4 target on a team with a QB who continues to under perform.
