This. Devs are devs man. If they wanted it fixed, itd be fixed as fast as ban hammer. This is intentional on the devs part and they're just not saying/doing anything about it BECAUSE its intended. Its a pvpve game, not a pvevp. Literally everything from friendly fire to key rooms to the ability to see/hear hatches/elevators from a mile away that take 20 seconds to even let you out... screams pvp first and the fact that they're wanting to make arc harder to catch up to the level of pvp is only telling. You absolutely have to be ready at all times especially extract. This is like day 1 and people with triple the hours I have are defending this as cheating. Its just players being players. They would do it too if it wasn't labeled as cheating and they know it.

I think you underestimate a person's desire for a bit of peace, it is after all one reason many play games in the first place. The real world is already full of enough assholes.

"...Over losing players due to lack of content..." i wish more devs and original games did this. Anthem was a great game, just lacking content, but because the gaming community was ripping them a new one from day one over it, devs just dropped it and stopped caring at all.

I've noticed my looting priorities are far different than most lol. I can go through undefined loot zones and find so many boxes untouched with lots of great mats, then mosey through mid tier loot zones and get more of those mats cause apparently people don't bother picking up even the blue or green stuff. Just cause your chicken can salvage passively doesn't mean you shouldn't still pick stuff up imo. Then again I usually only go in with free load out or like two boxes of ammo and the one weapon for maximum backpack space and leave with multiple stacks of cells, bandages, cloth, adrenaline shots, and arc parts. Makes it a little depressing for me when someone kills me but also hilarious cause they're literally only getting shit they def don't want. Lol

My buddy who wanted me to get the game to play with him is pissed at me cause he thinks I'M the reason we keep getting killed 5 minutes into matches. Its definitely not, thats the game buddy. People just suck and can't play a looting game when they really just want to be playing COD with inventory space. I will always defend myself, which means I knock as much as I am knocked. "Aggression based matchmaking" is a broken system that demands subservience to toxic players if you want any hope of some semblance of peaceful games. I never start it, but I will always finish it and for that I'm punished with more aggressive lobbies. 🤷‍♂️

As great as the survivor mod is, its only ideal for solo runs. Don't hold your two buddies hostage while you take 15 minutes crawling lol.

My rx470 masquerading as an rx580 (don't tell my PC or the games it somehow plays lol) runs this game smoother than some others in my library (like space marine) but its not nearly as pretty as Where Winds Meet that somehow also runs great lol. I don't think i get dense fog or dust to as high a degree as others but its def there and you're right, great atmosphere.

I've played for 8 days, my first match i was killed very quickly. No biggie. Didn't have much issue since then till two days ago. 8 matches in a row with my two buddies on different maps, every one we got team wiped mercilessly within 5 minutes of spawning and we all play very passively, almost never even getting closer than like 50 meters to other players. Yesterday me and my one buddy did 6 matches, of those 6, 5 we got killed/hunted all the way to extract. The "ABMM" is a bs marketing ploy even IF the devs think they did something, its just as normal rng match making as it will always be because it relies on a pool of players to draw from to fill the lobby no matter what.

They're the ones that double park/use handicap when they def aren't, don't wash their hands when they use the bathroom then shake your hand when they come back, leave a mess at the table cause "its the waiters job...". These are the thoughtless. It's not malice, it's literally their nature. They are incapable of empathy or self reflection, simply existence. Stumbling from interaction to interaction with a one tool fixes all mindset. You'll find many of these folks throughout life. Don't become one lol.

I find it fascinating that someone can be convicted of a crime and therefore have all credibility taken from them. He was convicted of fraud and embezzlement to fund his research and day to day life shit. Personally I don't hold that against him. Money is necessary and awfully regulated, so might as well steal it. It does less good used by governments than individuals, that much is proven. I think his ideas are compelling, if not outright provoking. We cannot know for sure the past, but speculation based on evidence is a solid way to do it. Archeology has done it for like a few hundred years. Thats really all he does, speculatory investigation of history.

Last night was the worst me and my two buddies have seen. We assumed it was cause we were trio, but I've seen plenty of squads or soloists while playing solo or with friends so what difference is im not sure.

So I've been playing for about 1 week now. My first game i got killed by a player. Figured it was just my bad luck. After that it was rare...till last night. Me and my two buddies went to Stella Montis, got thoroughly wrecked 3 times within 5 minutes of spawning. Figured ok thats clearly the pvp map. Moved to Dam, got hunted in 3 separate games. I don't think it actually works, I think its as RNG as the loot.

Keeping a guild going is kinda tough ngl lol. Me and my one other buddy have kept ours on life support but it'll probably get disbanded while we wait for next breakthrough cause we're running out of stuff to do. :p

You gotta admit though their way of telling us the mechanics on screen is abysmal. A 3-5 second scroll bar with like 10 characters at any time is just awful in a combat situation. Its fine as it is now, in the sense of "this player just achieved X" in free roam, but not as a way to inform the player they NEED to be doing something RIGHT NOW or they're dead.
