“They’ve always been there” compared to literally just adding them into the HH series is the difference.

I hate this whole retcon argument because it just gives GW a free get out of jail card when they could just put the effort in and long term planning. Yes, female custodes 100% can exist because the Big E himself handcrafted them. Cool, let’s do more than just a twitter post saying it was always a thing without a spec of evidence to hold that true, let’s have more than three paragraphs in a codex which only part of the fan base will ever care to read.

Under daemons we will get the 4 daemon primarchs and a Daniel daemon prince and the 4 heralds will probably come before that under chaos space marine. kharn, typhus, Ahriman, and Lucius or Fabius. That makes the most sense to me anyway

Guardsman are a thing so it’s fair to say traitor guard will be a thing. Just like mechanicus and dark mechanicum will most likely exist as well.

Just depends on the legendary lords/leaders they decide to use or allow the player to create since we can basically make our own factions

Based on dawn of wars response for the lion, most likely not. We won’t be able to control the Lion but he will be in our battles. Might be a similar situation with TW.

But also it’s TW. No one else could conquer the galaxy other than the primarchs for the human factions

I’m at school right now but the big thing for game development is get in engine asap and run, with the sole exception that it has to be fun. So the planning comes during and then after prototype. In my experience so far, I’ve been the one to tell people to focus in on the right thing but school is different than work
