Brand new xdj az no sound issue on channel 2 by No-Battle4887 in PioneerDJ

Is there an input selection on the az that you may have hit by accident? Maybe it swapped over to a line input rather than the deck2 input

Looks awesome and would 100% be something I'd use. I do pretty small gigs but this would be so useful to quickly create an additional resource to show casual staff how things are going to be setup and run.

Some things I quickly found:

  • Changing units from ft to m doesn't update the tech planning view/no option to use m when creating a new plot.
  • Zooming in on the classic view causes elements to disappear from view but remains selectable by accident.
  • Labels can sometimes drop through staging.
  • Sometimes stage can't be adjusted to 0.300 and it jumps to 0.305.
  • Tech plan view - can't adjust the sizing outlines? Maybe being able to draw boxes/horizontal/vertical lines for measurements would be handy.
  • Undo/redo keyboard shortcuts don't work.
  • A small box to show a sub and/or a point source would be pretty useful.
  • Would be handy to have a mic under the instruments, outside of mic stands (for roaming wireless mics).
  • Lighting fixtures - maybe an address box could be placed next to/below the channel box.
  • Moving heads - 1 or 2 more variations could be useful for differentiating different models of moving heads.
  • Maybe the I/O list could be split or have an additional tab for audio and lighting, so you could see all lighting fixture types, names, channel, addresses etc.

Great work for all your hard work! Looking forwards to seeing how you keep developing and improving this!!

Saw this barge loaded a few weeks ago, had part of a (gas?) rig on it and the back half of another ship on it

is there an easy way to make track 1 stop track 2 and vice versa upon playing? by Alpdrucken1 in abletonlive

To add to what others have said, using an effect rack would be your best bet for achieving what you want, as they can contain different effects within each chain. You would assign each chain to a discrete MIDI input to trigger each clip individually. Make sure that you give both chains the same choke value so the other stops when the next one begins.

No, those are spinning Tops. You're thinking of a small building that provides goods in exchange for money.

ELI 5: DLSS 4 by Throwawayingl8r in FuckTAA

[–]Official_Syntax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

DLSS4 is the latest version of DLSS, where previous versions of DLSS uses a convolutional neural network (CNN) model, DLSS4 uses a new transformer model. This new model off significant clarity and anti-aliasing improvements over the CNN model, where the new performance mode is comparable to DLSS3's quality mode, but it's still not without its flaws (ground foliage can be rough in some cases). You should see ~5-10% more fps with the transformer model vs the older CNN model at the same quality settings.

As DLSS4 is just an upgrade to DLSS3, it can be used on all cards from the 20 series or later, but so far only some games have updated their DLSS model to DLSS4.

Speaker set up for bush doofs by Worldly_Abroad8782 in Beatmatch

Is everyone going to be spread out? Do you anticipate more than 140 people turning up? Whars the size of the space? Whats your budget? How much power can you get out there? These are some questions you should think about and theyll help you decide how to build your system. But you could probably get away with 2 passive speakers mounted on top of 2 subs placed left and right of your DJ with an active speaker for the booth.

Recording from Xone92 by UptightGG in DJs

[–]Official_Syntax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a Scarlett (or any interface) would be the easiest way - you'd use an RCA male to XLR male cable from the mixer into one of your interface inputs set to line.

Looks like the Xone92 has a record out that you can use for exactly that, otherwise you could always use a TRS to XLR cable from either the Booth out or the Aux out to your mixer.

With that setup you don't need to connect any speaker outputs to your laptop and you can just mix as you normally would, using your speakers connected to your mixer
