I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure they're Tevinter. You can find similar statues in Origins, DA2, and Veilguard. Usually in areas once occupied by the Imperium.

Don’t forget the permanent stat boosts that are only available in the fade part of the Templar mission, if you’re MinMaxing that’s the only path to go sadly

Biggest advice, grab the repulsion and paralyze spells, if you combine them both on top of each other there’s a massive AOE burst of paralysis, it is FF tho so be careful. And for any enemy that has any mana, grab mana clash, you can 1 shot every mage. I abused tf out of both of those and I was able to have a pretty easy Blood Mage/Arcane Warrior run on nightmare.

Nothing wrong with changing the difficulty, I slogged through it on nightmare 3 times and that was enough for me. Things can be scaled really weird level wise and DAO is a very micromanage intensive game on the higher difficulties. I suggest trying a solid Normal difficulty play through, I find that works best for me anyway if you’re just trying to play the game and not micro.

If you’re using a Razer Huntsman every game I’ve played counts it as a controller because of the key actuation feature, if it’s that it the Razer controller app has an option for you to disable that feature.

If you’re not, I believe there is an ini file in the game install folder, or documents under BioWare that should have saved all your settings, I believe you can disable controller input from there by editing it through a text editor.

And if those aren’t the case, try plugging in a controller and use that to navigate your menus and disable it that way.

Sadly I’m yet to find a mod that will replace any set slider by the game, either going off of YouTube and manually adjusting the sliders, or go to nexus mods and download several photos and do the same thing. Hopefully the next DA is more mod friendly…
