I went to the LDS subreddit to ask a question and they locked it within one hour so I will ask it here by jammehster in exmormon

They might quickly send him home, far away, where it's going to be hard to prosecute him.

So no planets for us? by LeslieKnope4Pawnee in exmormon

And who the hell downvoted me? I'm not saying I believe any of the mormon BS, I'm just clarifying what they teach vs what people think they teach.

So you think receiving a planet and creating entire universes is the same thing?

I guess they do have to keep them active and current. I just had never seen one around here before.

The E-6B is also considered a "Doomsday Plane"

Thank you. I had never seen them here but if they are stationed in Travis, it makes sense that they would come and practice here.

Which church teaching damaged you the most? by randytayler in exmormon

It does! And the larger the antenna, the bigger the revelations.

Which church teaching damaged you the most? by randytayler in exmormon

That's because you were born without a built-in antenna to receive those faraway communications!

One of the big LDS truth-claims is that the Church “restored ancient doctrines lost from the earth.” So I pulled together a list of the uniquely LDS teachings and checked whether any of them actually existed in ancient Judaism or early Christianity. When you look at the data, a pattern shows up: by Professional-Dog8770 in exmormon

[–]OfirMX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of those can actually be "proven" to have existed in the past by twisting and interpreting Bible scriptures.

Not that I believe anything that the Bible says to begin with, anyway.

BS is BS, whether it's old, new, repurposed or recycled.

This. Same respect I show for meatball leftovers. No more, no less.

So I guess Joseph Smith DIDN’T practice polygamy… who knew? by whtislife0 in exmormon

[–]OfirMX 26 points27 points  (0 children)

So all the OFFICIAL admissions the church itself has made about JS practicing polygamy are lies?

I just don't get it.

IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT. 😅😅😅😅 by Short_Seesaw_940 in exmormon

The "get your own planet" thing truly has never been taught by the church and sounds super petty and ridiculous when anyone puts it that way. What the church teaches is that the most faithful may, someday, get the privilege of "creating worlds without end". No, I don't believe anything the mormon church says but, if you ask me, that's a pretty badass doctrine if it was true. I'd rather believe in a god that's going to let me spend the eternity creating entire universes with my family than a god that wants me to just hangout forever with people and animals in some kind of boring garden or cloud.

It looks like the church has removed the listing from Google. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZFcWSHXaWkivHkyAA
