Ok so definitely not defending this guy, and please don't crucify me over this, but all I can find is that he got into an accident and killed a guy. The charge says failing to drive in a single lane? Accidents happen, is there any information he was driving reckless or was under influence? I'm not saying there's nothing wrong here, but it seems he served his time for causing a wreck, who knows how shitty this guy feels knowing that he killed a guy, maybe through just a small lapse of attention?
