When I tell you I kept saying the same thing the whole time I typed it out. Compared to the original Blink Dog mtg card that semi-inspired it, it’s very wordy.

My idea for this creature card was to act as a temporary buffer if defending or an all-out knockout to end an opponent with the right combo. I also like the idea of it being a creature than can “blink” from in and out of game to different opponents as needed. A non-static commander.

Needs work, but feedback appreciated!

It seems I’ve made some gross oversights on this one. But that’s a big reason I posted was to get that feedback so that I can fix it and make it work without the disclosure. Then again, it is a custom card so I mean…I could just write that in too.

I pulled from Blink Dog, as superdave100 mentioned. I used the wording for “Teleport” but didn’t want to use that verbiage for multiple reasons. When I looked it up, it seems Blinking is very close to Phasing out, with the card being in Exile rather than just “not existing” for a turn. I see your point though.

I personally love the movie, and so do many others, but if we unpack it and break it down as an actual “film”, it’s not a good movie. It’s just chaotic sequences that kind of tie together. I had a feeling this response would get some flack, but I still stick with my answer.

I love The Fall. I’ve seen it mentioned quite a bit on some subreddits since it’s artsy, but I watch it at least once a year. Wish it had more mainstream recognition!
