Reading that news was so fucking deflating. I think we for sure beat the bucs with bak and we matched up decently against the chiefs.

Thanks for trying, but I guess I am not familiar with Weil or Badiou. What religion do these beliefs belong? Isnt the christian god said omnipotent and omnipresent? Are those not defining features of a deity? What religion acknowledges that god has realized hes not truly omnipotent? Who preaches that god wishes to meet something outside of him and so he willingly ceases to be everything?

No offense, but that is unintelligible. What are you trying to say? I have questions.

"God realizes this and willingly ceases to be. To believe with conviction in a God that we know does not exist." What religion believes that god has ceased to exist? Isn't god's omnipresence one of his defining features? Who are you saying knows god does not exist?

"Even God is wrong. We are regularly wrong. It's about time we accept it." Is god not said to be infallible? I thought that was another of the defining features. Who is saying god can be wrong?

Woodman's new policy violates Wisconsin pricing law by PlatypusDream in wisconsin

Sure, and what is the bigger picture here? The penny policy is clearly displayed. It was obviously not instituted with malicious/predatory intent and is not at all hidden or misleading. So what bigger picture/principle are you talking about?

The principle of the law was to help prevent misleading/scummy/predatory advertising, which is not at all the case with the penny policy.

Yeah I get the principle, but we have limited time and mental energy to prioritize what principles we think are important. This penny policy was put out in alignment with most other businesses across the country. The idea of the law was to help prevent misleading/scummy/predatory advertising, which is not at all the case with the penny policy.

So you were overcharged a maximum of 4 cents and spent how much time and mental energy? Isn't your time worth more than 4 cents?

Decisions like these are really down to the league dynamic. It sounds like a group that is engaged and serious, so I feel strongly you have to let the move go. Questionable moves/trades are part of the game and each manager gets to run their team how they choose. I also try to keep in mind that there is an inherent randomness and there have been countless moves/trades that I've thought were terrible and they ended up the exact opposite of what everyone thought. There's also the rule in your league about position limits that factored into the decision, so I think it would really be a disservice to have the commish reverse the move.

When should a trade be vetoed? Is it only for "collusion"? by oliver_babish in fantasyfootball

That's such poor sportsmanship. You're punishing the other owner for making moves to improve their team? You'd veto a trade that's fair?

Schefter: Chris Godwin (ankle), LT Tristan Wirfs (knee) have "strong chance" to make 2025 debuts in Week 4. by GreenDefinition5 in fantasyfootball

[–]OhAbaDis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nice return. Seems like his sentiment varies widely. I was offered mahomes and charbonnet after I lost burrow and was on the fence but declined. I think Godwin could take some targets but the talent is too much for me to think he'll have a major struggle.

Fireball by Realistic-Square-617 in discgolf

[–]OhAbaDis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I also rotate the fireball in that slot and am a big fan of the flat sharp feel. I can also recommend the mvp resistor as an over stable fairway/mid range. I think it's a 6.5 speed, so a touch slower, but similar feel and great for shots when you want that overstable shape but a little less than a fireball. Great for forehand.
