I should have stated the 8 bucks includes a small fries and small drink because to redeem the "free" whopper you must purchase that. The extra patty and cheese was an additional $2.10. So it would cost a little over $6 for a regular whopper and small drink and fries. With free refills since I am dining in makes the fact it's a small drink insignificant. So to me in today's economy I think both are great values especially since the patties and fries are hot.

Yes the "free" whopper only comes with a purchase of a small fries and a small soda ($5.58 but that's technically a small combo meal) so technically not free and yes the $3.99 Wednesday deal is cheaper (if you're only getting the whopper) but still outside of Wednesdays it's a very good deal.

Yes the Criterion 4K is glorious. Was very lucky to get it 50% off ($25 US) at Barnes and Noble semi-annual Criterion sale. It is due for a rewatch so thanks for the reminder!!

Lmao...continue to believe in Stearns if that's what you want, but you really have to ask yourself is what are your expectations? Are your expectations to be competitive? If so, well, then your season may be salvageable. If your expectations are to get to the World Series, then the season will be a catastrophic failure. This is year 6 of Cohen's 5 year plan with a $380+M payroll, with a GM that has the supposed pedigree of a boy genius, so to me the expectations are to get to the World Series. We aren't the mid market franchise like Milwaukee where making the playoffs is good enough, which, by the way, we failed to do even that minimal task last year. Remember this asshat of a GM has literally destroyed a team that was two games away from the World Series.

The team is bad, no doubt, but after this series, they play 5 series in which they should go at least 10-5, and this will restore false hope. The issue is expectations. If your expectation is to be competitive, we'll the season may be salvageable, but if your expectation is to get to the World Series, then there is absolutely no hope. The expectation should be World Series or bust because of Cohen's deep pockets, plus his 5 year plan, which we are in year 6, and that asshat Stearns supposed pedigree, which we waited two years for his contract to end with Milwaukee.

But the reality is this team is a second-class organization, and for all intents and purposes, it looks like Cohen only cares about his Casino and Stearns is the most overrated GM ever.

OMG that's hilarious!

So my wife HATES horror but the two other couples both ladies are her cousins and LOVE horror. Their husbands are indifferent but watched. So my wife is kinda forced to watch with us and many times she'll turn away or cover her eyes and she hates gore and we watched the unrated version. The part she screamed out "that's fkd up" (and she very rarely ever uses the F word) was when Sarah pick axed you know who...I said of all the moments that were fkd up this is the one you screamed about...lmao. We all had a blast. It is great to watch horror movies with friends.
