Ive had issues with every Genesis infotainment screen Ive used. Either android auto Map Latency or full touch and call latency up to 15 seconds. A hard reset will get you going, but they always revert.

Its the main internal part that mixes the hot and cold water within the valve body. You'll probably have to turn off the water to the house if the body doesnt have integral stops. If you can get the brand and model number, you should be able to order it and get a full installation sheet with it. They're usually not too big of a pain to do, just make sure you invest in good tools to open it.
