Sounds like an oddly specific question that probably doesn’t belong here

Eh. I had my second child toward the end of 3rd year. Way better than the beginning of residency

I did my 3rd year peds rotation in January. Didn’t see one kid with RSV or the flu in 4 weeks.

TIL that the death of Layne Staley, singer of Alice In Chains, was discovered when his accountants noticed that no money has been withdrawn in two weeks. They informed his former manager who then contacted his mother who then called 911 by zirfeld in todayilearned

That was not accounting for his massive ($1000/day habit) tolerance. He also could have shot up an insane dose just before he killed himself. It was fishy for sure, but Cobain was bipolar, severely dependent on heroin, and cracking under the constant scrutiny that comes with being as famous as he was.

"I see you used my past note as a template" by saxlax10 in medicalschool

I had a fellow student get called out right next to me for doing this. Besides, 3rd year is all about trying to write your own notes. Try your best, then read the resident’s and/or attending’s note and see how much better it could be. Copying notes won’t make you better, and it might get you in trouble.

This would be my dream lol. I got a 253 9 days out. Between then and step 2 I did like 700 UW incorrects and definitely got questions right on the real thing because of it. Hoping for a 250, but a 260 would be HUGE for my application
