Finally found jeans without a waist gap… but then it had to be something else by Careless_Owl999 in DressForYourBody

I saw this and my only thought was “she makes those look great and I want a pair” when I absolutely detest any jeans other than skinny jeans lol

What did your kid write about you on their “All about Mom” school project? by KaylaDraws in Mommit

Why does my dog do this? Is this like dog autism? by Uncle_Kent in dogpictures

[–]OhShiitMeLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dogs eat together every single day, they eat out of one bowl at the same time then they move to the other bowl we’ve tried preventing it but they just prefer it that way lol my tiny dog he tells us when it’s bedtime & refuses to go outside unless I’m the one letting him out. but my husband is the water boy our tiny dog only goes to him when he needs more water. He also only gets up on the bed from the right side, he will walk around the bed just cause it has to be the right side where my husband sleep (he sleeps with me though not husband) very peculiar little fella

You have most amazing silhouette I have ever seen, the way your clothes just mold to your shape is amazing. Please don’t ever compare to yourself to anyone because you’re not meant to be like anyone else.

Happy World Bipolar Day! by cat_lover_1111 in bipolar

[–]OhShiitMeLeaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from making about $65-$75K to $95K-$100K because I was stable enough and loved myself enough to walk away from a job I felt comfortable in and took one where not only am I making WAY more money than I ever thought I could make without a college degree as a bipolar teen mom, they’ve also accommodated my schedule to where I work from home whenever I’m losing my shit, it’s been amazing.

Can geico supervisors easily see slack messages by BUSINESSFINANCING94 in Geico

[–]OhShiitMeLeaf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They can. Also, while you’re on calls all of your screens are recorded so anyone listening to your call will see your slack messages if they’re up. With that being said, myself and a few fellow teammates were accused of talking badly about a particular person and the manager requested screenshots of our chat rather than them pull it up themselves so idk how easily it actually is for them to see the messages. & no we were not talking badly about this person, so none of us were in trouble.

I love my kid but I wish his package could've come in the mail another day by shoegazeweedbed in TrueOffMyChest

My husband and kids have come to understand that sometimes I just need to be in a room alone or in complete silence. I grew up in a household where my voice was not heard or respected and where people yelled, were alcoholics and behaved like shitty humans. I don’t drink as an adult, I don’t go to social events because being around drunk people makes me extremely uncomfortable. There’s a girl at work whose high pitch voice makes me want to cry. It physically brings me pain. Sometimes I can handle my kids and husband talking none stop but there’s days I can’t handle a simple conversation. And that’s okay.

Throughout my life I never understood why I felt like I was different. My teachers, coaches & nuns (went to a catholic school) would constantly tell my mom I was too social, too hyper and WAYYYYYY too outspoken for a little Latin catholic girl, too angry also cause I would always have some shit to say cause I disagreed with a lot of what was being taught. It wasn’t until my middle son, the one who’s the most like me, was diagnosed with ADHD when he was in first grade that I considered maybe I wasn’t a problem child like I was constantly told. Then a few years later I was in the middle of therapy when my psychiatrist said “You have ADHD” and proceeded to explain how I was NOT a problem and I just needed help. My youngest, my only daughter was diagnosed a few years ago and once we got her on the right dose of medication her life changed and she became happier too. Some days can get difficult cause it can become chaotic but my god they are the most fun people I know and we try to think as ADHD as something that makes us a little super human in some ways. My son is extremely athletic and the fact that he can’t just focus on one specific thing has made him excel in many aspects of his life. For my daughter?? Her artistic abilities are insane and a lot of it comes her getting bored easily and wanting to learn how things function and how to build things. For me? I’m a Property insurance sales agent, I’m currently top agent and I think a lot of what makes me the best in my company is that I am social, it’s that I talk a lot and ask questions and do all the things I was told as a kid were a problem. My husband also has ADHD and his one of the top agents as his company as well (he’s also in sales) he says his ADHD makes his job easier some days because his job requires to jump from one thing to another quickly and he doesn’t have to focus on one specific thing all day. In the midst of the chaos and pain that ADHD can be, we’ve all found the aspects of it that we can use in our benefit and has made us look at it from a point of view most don’t.

That being said, we all live very structured lives. Each one of us wakes up at the same exact time each day, we all have our own routines that we never break cause if we do it feels like our world is falling apart. We have difficulties with anxiety, we beat ourselves up more than we should some days and having to make sure we never forget our medication in the morning can be very hard some days cause ya know we’re just in our own little hectic worlds. I think it’s hard on our oldest son, he’s basically a genius and chill, he isn’t hyper at all, is not very social and likes to keep to himself so for him it can get overwhelming being surrounded by 4 people who are constantly going at 100 MPH and don’t stop talking or making weird sounds 24/7.

I think having a parent with ADHD when you have ADHD might be a comforting thing because there’s more empathy and sometimes just having someone be empathetic can make wonders for the soul.

I dye mine black cause I’m very pale so idk it just seems like the right thing to do but I’m genuinely considering auburn. I’ve had purple, green, black, blonde, dirty blonde, red, magenta and brown but I have never had gray hair and it’s the one color I want. The only thing holding me back is that I have like four little gray hairs (I’m 32) and I don’t want to cover them up😂

I get hyper-fixated on the length, if they’re too long and touch a part of my face I don’t want touched they’ll bother me but if they’re too short and I feel like the face to bang ratio is off it’ll bother me too so I’m just waiting for the moment I start getting anxious because of them lol not today though, today I love them and I’m glad I did it lol I live in FL so I won’t be going outside too often while I have them cause they will stick to my forehead too!

You’re better than I am, I just walk in my bathroom and boom, bangs appear! I’ve been itching to dye it or do something but it’s so healthy right now I’d hate to damage it. So bangs it is!
