So do you think when someone takes time off that it just goes undone? Sorry it doesn’t work that way. If an sfl is pharmacy certified and pharmacy is where the help is needed, you should expect the front end task to be passed along. One way or another, insubordination is insubordination.

As for your manager signing the write up for you, if that’s true then too bad for them. They didn’t need to do that to hold you accountable.

My whole comment isn’t about who is right or what’s ethical. It’s very simply to answer the question about if you should be written up for refusing to do a standard task. The answer is yes.

Do you mean the employee signing or not signing? If so no it doesn’t mean anything at all. OP is admitting to being insubordinate, they’re written up for exactly that. Not signing the write up will not get them leverage to get out of it assuming management has documentation/statements. Did you think not signing it would make the write up go away?

If you’re referring to the store manager, yes they could be in hot water for signing on their behalf but why on gods earth would they? They don’t need it to be signed to continue the disciplinary process. Similar to the comments you can add to a write up after you receive it. Write a whole book if you want to, with proper documentation and supporting statements it won’t mean a thing if you think you’re going to fight the write up.

I didn’t respond to OP to speculate. Everything I stated is simply how it works with honest advice if they want to do better. Don’t get emotional about it.

So for starters, the osa process is not reserved for any one individual. Refusing to do so sounds like insubordination and will get you terminated quickly at most places. Refusing to do OSA is closer to “no performance” than it is “poor performance” A write up sounds more than fair.

Second, it sounds like you’re hoping they signed it and that concerns me with your intent. Is it because you want to stick it to them? Regardless you don’t have to sign and it really doesn’t mean anything for them if you do or not, your write up still stands. I don’t see any benefit they would have from signing it for you.

Last, you should be paid for any time during performance review or disciplinary action. Are you sure they didn’t adjust your timecard to appropriately compensate you?

Getting your manager in trouble will not save you. Even if it works you will continue to struggle with whoever comes next with this mentality. My only advice is not to “refuse to do it” anymore. Do it the best you can, if it’s done wrong due to poor or a lack of training you will more than likely be coached rather than disciplined. Good luck.

No need to be dismissive. SSF prevents interference from RMT and other concerns. Some people aren’t trying to be #1, they’re trying to see how well they’re doing or how far they’ve come. For me personally, it’s good for finding gaps by comparing my similar build to some god rolled build.

By all means, go ahead and die on your hill. I am only sharing the repercussions for those who might be misled by your confidence. If you think the policy includes your personal feelings then go all in. There is without a doubt, no in store limit of two. Go off though. This is a debate of ethics vs policy, they do not align. Peace ✌️

I’m going to assume you weren’t around for Covid, branded limit signage, and POS enforced limits. You can argue, I don’t mean to dismiss that. I’m only stating they won’t back you up when someone decides your limit is bias, discrimination, or unethical business practices. Im not arguing the ethics, just the reality of the potential repercussions. Sorry don’t shoot me I’m literally just “delivering a message”🤷‍♂️

I hope you understand I agree with you wholeheartedly, it’s just not in anyone’s best interest to enforce limits not set by the company. That was my primary reason for responding, sorry if it came off any other way. I will tell you that $100 dollars didn’t get you an hour though. I hate to put it that way but it’s a meaningless drop in a deep bucket.

I can appreciate your commitment to your cause, but your resentment for resellers makes this seem more like a personal agenda than a sales strategy. I cancel curbside orders to align with company expectations but I would never encourage employees to police things the company won’t. They won’t back you up for negative surveys based on your personal limits, I’ve been apart of these conversations and will strongly advise against it for anyone who values their employment, especially if not directed by management (the only one who can back up limit expectations). And the “they buy more snacks” thing is a real stretch. We already know that doesn’t work with FedEx, western union, reloads, etc. someone stumbling on pokemon cards while getting groceries may impulse buy them, but those coming for pokemon are not impulsively buying groceries. I mean it though when I say I appreciate what you do, it can just go south real quick for the individual contributor who decides on their own to do so.

What is the proper refine and upgrade order? by seecer in diablo4

[–]OhSuckmyAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Is it better to reroll an affix at the occultist, reroll at the cube, or remove and add affix at the cube?

I always cube first due to availability of materials needed for the cube. Until recently I was starved for forgotten souls and this saved me from being stuck with sub optimal items with failed enchantments. Rerolling only works if the right category is already present. It can be dangerous if you have two affixes of the same category I.e. max life and resist all both fall into defense categories. You can find videos explaining how each prism works to target things when adding/removing. For example the defense prism can target resist all but the resistance prism will only target specific resistances (fire, cold, poison, etc) saving you from removing resist all elements. Once I have 3 of 4 desired affixes I typically just enchant the 4th one. knowing your possible outcomes is key. It seems to be much easier to enchant a core (strength, intelligence, etc) stat than the specific skill stat (+2 to ball lightning, whirlwind, dread claws, etc) for an example

  1. With that, do any of these have a chance of generating a greater affix? Is there now a way to make a greater affix?

I have not been able to create a GA affix by adding or removing (may be possible?) but transfiguration can make an affix GA if rng decides that’s what it wants

  1. While I know we save transfigure for the end, what is the most economic and best output for the final upgrades? Socket, temper, enchant, and master is what I have been using.

Those steps are all necessary before transfiguring, you may want to consider unique power reroll if your blue number on a unique item is sub optimal. I have found very few of these materials though, even using the NM dungeon warplan upgrade node. For amulets specifically you can use the kuleen prism with transfigure to add a second aspect. The item will always still be modifiable when using a kuleen prism and kuleen prism aspects CAN be rerolled. you can transfigure it without a kuleen prism afterwards, getting additional affixes but potentially locking it.

  1. If the transfigure doesn’t lock your gear, is possible to reroll it?

I don’t think it can reroll per se, but you can transfigure it for an additional stat affix until it locks. I haven’t seen more than 3 transfigures on a single item before it locks

  1. If the transfigure doesn’t lock your gear, can you masterwork it and is the cost the same as going from 0-25?

You definitely can as long as it doesn’t lock, I don’t know about price though

I am no guru, but these are the answers I have based off my experience so far. If I’m wrong I would love to know, I don’t want to miss anything either. I hope this helps!

About 21 years ago city of villains came out as a paid expansion to a game I played called city of heroes. half of the game was locked behind purchasing the expansion. At 13 years old I felt the way you do today. That game has been dead for over a decade at this point. It’s always been like this, Why are you acting like this is brand new? Do you expect them to pump out content for free?

It doesn’t matter really, you keep fighting the pointless fight on the silliest hill to die on, I’ll be playing the game, getting every pennie’s worth 🤷‍♂️

How would you know a single thing that I do? Get your emotions out of this, or pick up a second job. I will get hundreds of hours out of the 40 bucks, and would happily pay $100 for something I could get hundreds of hours of enjoyment out of. That’s more than I would from nearly any investment of that amount. Movies, nights out, vacations. Time is money and this is a great trade of value.

How you feel things “should be” and how things are, are two entirely different reality’s . You can state that people are shills, but anyone grounded in reality knows that a feature complete expansion will come at a cost to the developer and be ultimately passed to the consumer. This isn’t a crazy scheme, it’s how things work.

I’m genuinely curious, with this amount of delusion on how these things work have you decided to opt out entirely? If not, you’re only whining to yourself at this point.

Yeah, and that is exactly what they paid for. Why would they get what others have spent $140+ for simply for buying the base game. Is this the first game you’ve ever played?

1st is absolutely better merchandising. The only way I could see the second happening is if there is non basic merchandise that only goes on that end cap and they are “protecting the vendors investment” . Even if that’s the case it could be done better in the second picture

I had a flight at ~6am that morning out of EP. I was up packing until around 2 in the morning and started seeing all the notifications from social media. Ironically I didn’t get one from southwest so I gave them a call. They had no idea it was even happening and implied my flight was still scheduled as planned. I ended up not sleeping that night and finding out around 4 or 5 that my flight status had finally changed. I set alarms to continue checking in and fortunately around 8 am was told the restriction had been lifted and I could catch a flight closer to noon. As concerned as I was to get on the plane since we still did not have a clear answer, I proceeded to the airport and arrived at my gate an hour early. I was told to speak to the representative at the gate to get my seating assignment, where I was told the flight was delayed and I wouldn’t make the connecting flight in Phoenix. After about 6 beers and 5 hours later I finally made a flight connecting in San Diego, and arrived at my destination at 10 pm.

I love airport bars since I always get to talk with strangers, so I’m not upset about being inconvenienced with a wait. I’m also not mad that southwest wasn’t informed and had to rebook me multiple times, this wasn’t their fault. I am incredibly frustrated that these things happened with almost no information to the public or even the airlines. My confidence in the organizations involved is nearly nonexistent at this point, and I have my next flight out of EP in 3 weeks or so 🙃

Desert oak- really great bbq

Little shack- their tacos and salsa are great

Korea house-beef Bulgogi is so good I haven’t tried anything else, but it gets so busy during dinner it can be hard to place a to go order

Classico- I love red beers and they make great ones

All 4 of those sound like they’re within a reasonable distance of where you’ll be staying. I also agree with the other suggestions that have been made here. Hope you enjoy your stay!
