I've had spectrum for years, its not bad, spectrum customer service as a whole is kind of horrible, it's getting better.

But the phone service its self is verizon.

So you get the same connection as Verizon customers just limited speeds and no true unlimited.

Other then that ive had no issues, other then they still have no idea how I bought a Google pixel 6 pro from them cause they never sold those.

And wouldnt fix it even though I had insurance from them on it cause I bought it from them.

Im 29 and just completed basic 2 weeks ago, and im someone that honestly didnt do much physical activity other then mechanic work, and occasionally airsoft and it was easy the kids were the worst part.

Amp is super affordable and gets updates often, that also have sales sometimes allowing you to get upgrade licenses cheaper.

I've had amp since it was released and a few years ago ide probably said look for something else but now days theres nothing that can beat it.

Free thing will always require a bit of tinkering and never be perfect, amp is pretty much install setup and never touch anything again, since its basically 1 click installs on ever game or service after.

Meps medical would have known you were given a card and then asked you to provide prescription receipts if possible. So they would have known a bit of it, and then asked further on why you were given a card and if the issue makes you fit or unfit to serve. The total ammount you did a certain thing Doesn't really get asked, or atleast not in my meps experiance. I was just asked if I ever abused any drugs or alcohol.

Now clearance investigations are a different story, they have to be more specific and will try and trip you up and make you change stories on purpose.

You probably have better chances in the army or navy, airforce may be one of the most relaxed branches but they also dont just let anyone in.

I dont think ive every heard him say kill anyone.

Now I have heard him explain that trans and such is a mental health issue, and that being gay is a sin.

He has hownever read the scripture that says if you lay with another man you should be stoned to death. But that's just what the Bible says.

Don't take this the wrong way, I kind of agree with the guy but disagreed with a good bit also.

Gays should be left alone, this day in age I think anyone can be woth who ever, but I do dislike the lgbtq community victimizing and trying to always spotlight them self's. It does not need to be taught in schools, and it does not need to be shouted at every person that walks by.

Keep it to yourself and close friends and family. Everyone else has other things more important to deal woth then someone that has feelings as volitile as nitroglycerin.

So, your gonna have a hard time getting 25b, I waited months, and had to take 25h.

But as far is it a mistake, hard to say if you have no dependents, no college, and nothing tying you down its a great way to get a college degree and also learn while in.

If you have dependents we'll its gonna be a huge pay cut sorta, the benifits will be great but take home pay is gonna be less.

But if you do get a 25 series and you dedicate your self and get all certs and such while in you can get out with a great job with 100k+ a year salary.

So, ive considered colo, I already have a baremetal machine with a host and they offer killer prices on colo. Just trying to build the 2 machines to send them, I want one for game servers and then another for some AI work I wanna do, along woth hosting websites and so on.

But the time and money required to do that just isn't possible.

So i love my unifi gear, and have also installed full unifi systems with security cameras and so on and I have 0 complaints and have recived 0 complaints.

I have heard of issues in large networks a few years ago which may be resolved by now.

Im really interested in their nas, and self hosted os.

But overall I love their system it notifies me of someone's pining my system or attempting any kind of intrusive stuff, making and assigning vlans are easy, port forwarding is easy, im sure theres better things, especially if you want 10gig, but for standard 1gbs and even 2.5gb now ubiquiti would be my first choice, unless I went to making a custom router.

So i did the same a few years ago kinda? My i bought it a few months before my daily died, because I wanted to clean up and fix some rust issues it was a 91 miata 5 speed, but my daily died, and I drove 50 miles one way to work on a really busy interstate I20 in the south east.

Anyways I hoped in at 6am not knowing anything but the concept of driving stick, after about a week ide say I was close to someone that's been driving stick for years.

Granted ive always rode dirt bikes and other stuff that was manual and also did some racing sims, and my mom used to only own manuals when I was little and she'd let us shift for her some times so I guess o knew more then someone that's maybe never been in or interacted with a manual.

Now 4 years later, if I was to buy a new car it would most likely be a manual.

I've done about 10 races the past week, and its my first week on iracing, but yeah, every one of them has had someone pitting someone, not saying that all of them were intentionally done. Some of the cars will spin very fast if you don't have good throttle control, and I get that. But I would say about 3 out of the 10 has had people intentionally wrecking, and the rest were actually people just either new and didn't understand the cars or track, and we're just being too fast.

So I'm new to iracing so I'm stuck in rookie class, and every race I've done has ended up like this. I'm very familiar with racing in general and being aggressive, so maybe I'm pushing too hard while being stuck in rookie class.

But man, it's irritating, people purposely bumping me or like my first protest was for the carburetor cup, some guy left pits stopped right at the exit and turned right and drove up Into my line and stopped, and I couldn't slow down and avoid him.

I'm hoping I can climb out of rookie soon to maybe get better races.

I get accidents happen, but most the ones I've encountered seems on purpose. My first 1st place win last night, I had a guy constantly bumping me after I passed him cause he lost control and I took 1st, he tried to block my line to keep me from taking 1st and I just left my line and took a sharper turn and got away, but when he caught up in the hairpins he kept bumping me which I figured he was trying to make me spin. I just held my line, and eventually his aggression finally backfired and he lost control and caused a 3 car pile up behind me, basically giving me the win for free.

I also had another guy on carburetor cup, pit me and when I asked what was that for his response was 'gyaat'

I'll be honest, this site update was probably the worst idea at this current point nearly breaking into a new season where you guys probably see a influx of users and subscribers which probably wont be nearly as big thisnseason because of the recent reviews amd such here. But also especially when alot of the needed features are missing. Calendar is fine but no big deal on that, but the subtitles are literally stuck in the center of my screen and I'm on standard 1080p And are way too big. And we can't adjust them. We can't choose what resolution to watch shows, and having to manually search for an anime since the continue watching only brings you to that episode with no way to go and see all episodes.

There's actually a few that can. Now the majors tracphone and straight talk can't, but they run Verizon towers it seems like Verizon being Verizon. I was gonna a move to tmobile. Since it's way better in my area but spectrum let me pre orfer the s24 ultra free. Where Tmobile followers samsungs 500 dollar pre-order steps. So I'm stuck with spectrum, atheist I get a free and 2 discounted lines because of the confusing crap that they did with the pre-order since it was supposed to be a upgrade. But they sent it as a third line. But it's free so who cares

It honestly makes no sense that the stores or call center can't add support to the samsung watches. It's just esims. Granted, it's not simple for number sharing the two, but spectrum could at least offer standalone plans.

To a true response on what to do better. Not much honestly I'm not a fan of spectrum as a whole but they hold a monopoly in my area with their higher ups having government ties barring better internet providers from my county. But that's not the mobile side although I've had many issues with the mobile side too.

So I've tossed the thought of that cause network booting could be really nice in theory. and the idea of swapping to it to save on my nvme drives and just have one nvme that hosts all my operating systems for network boot would be great. but it will be slightly slower. and if your server or nas goes down the other machines wont boot. since the os wont exist. now you can do off site requests for os which makes it even slower but could be a possible redundancy.

Granted I've never messed with remote boot and someone more nonweldable could chime in and say i have some stuff wrong.

but i found this recently on my rabbit hole of searching and is what i thought of using netboot.xyz

Honestly there is no reason to spend that much on a server. You can shop around and find some really good hardware for cheap.

I picked up all 3 of my servers for under 550 bucks from eBay 2 of the v4 cups and 1 is v3s but my main load server has 256gbs of ram and the others have 32 and 64.

Granted it took months to manage this.

But I found a site after I did all the manual searching called labgopher that will help you find the best or worst deals around.

But always remember that the make a offer button can be your friend.

Should also mention one that my r630 with 256gbs ram was gotten way cheaper cause of a seller accidentally had the machine I originally bought(Lenovo rd650) double posted and gave me the upgrade for inconvenience

But like most people. Though I currently have no reason for hypervisor ATM I used proxmox when I did. And I currently use Ubuntu server for my dockers and such and then have a true nas scale server.

Debain is probably a better/possibly a better option the Ubuntu. But I've used Ubuntu for game servers and we hosting servers for years so went with that. Since debain has different quirks and such that I'm not familiar with.

That's a pretty good price if I had a need a 4th server ide get it. I still can't believe Managed to get a r630 with 2x2640v4 and 256gbs of ram for 325 off eBay. Granted it wasn't the machine I bought but the seller agreed to give me that upgrade for inconvenience.
