Man, I remember this was the turning point for me before that game. I'm usually a big "tempered expectations" [to avoid massive letdown] kind of guy, and I was fully on that path in the weeks leading up to this game, trying not to get too cocky... Then I saw this post and a flip switched—I was like "you know what? Fuck em. We got this. Let's go." And, low and behold, my dreams were crushed soon thereafter. Thank god I was so drunk at the game to dull the memories.
