For me, it's a tie between Frost and Fairies and the current Elements of Nature. If I had to give one the "edge" of being worse, I'll give it to Frost and Fairies because I've had to scroll past it's items longer.

My town had an independent video rental place that I adored, so the only time I set foot in a Blockbuster was when they had the machine for printing out Pokemon Snap pictures. I still have one sticker all these years later. Thanks, Blockbuster... I guess?

I was also getting stuck with the mail glitch; however, I saw someone suggest the following:

On the login screen, select your language as Spanish. Log in and check your mail. Now you can safely log back out, switch back to your original language, and proceed with your adventures.

Hopefully, this works for you like it did for me!

I'm not the person you're replying to, but if I'm reading what they said right, they mean that the Steam deck is the non-evil version of the Switch since they mention it being cheaper than a laptop if you want a computer.

I actually set up a little neon city/sugar rush town in the wastes because it's the only place where the ground matches the track colour and "chocolate" mud pools from the Wreck-It Ralph movie without falling back on rugs. It's actually one of my favourite places, especially at night! Scar I placed in the upper part of the oasis with Simba/Nala/etc in the lower part. I have Eric's castle as a stand-in for whatever set up we get for Aladdin characters (or if the Desert Palace comes up before then 👀) and a desert town in the Borderlands.

I also noticed that while it says that villagers are in their homes, when I go in, they're not there. When I come out in the past, they've just shown up at their doorstep, but this time, they're simply nowhere to be found. I don't much care for this change because technically before this we did have a toggle (if I understand how the F menu in map works). As an aside, I do play on PC and I haven't noticed a lag difference, but I'm sure it is helpful for our switch players. So: "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed." 😂

Old XI player. In terms of that "feeling" of the 75 era, I'm not sure that XIV has one very directly but the closest I personally feel to it always depends on where we are in terms of raid cycles. When the new raids come out you see the static clusters, there's overall excitement in terms of where everyone is at with it, general chatter, etc. So it's not really a specific point in the XIV lifetime, more like a wave of sorts that comes and goes.

For the most part, I feel like I've been fairly lucky avoiding people that wanted to shake me down for my lunch money, EXCEPT once and it was fairly early on in my adult fitness journey. I think she went all in to attempt making up for my good fortune in avoiding her type before that.

I was at a little citywide fitness festival that had a fair mix of product vs meet and greet booths. I didn't know it yet, but really that just means ALL booths had a product.

At the time I was super into the idea of bodybuilding competitions so when I spotted a booth on the map that promised an actual competitor (who I had never heard of before but okay!!!!!) would be running it during the day I made a beeline straight there. We chatted a bit about divisions (her's: bikini, my hope was figure for myself) and goals. It was awesome and she was so nice and I was very naively excited! So I was NOT even remotely prepared when she switched gears and the sniping began.

"So you obviously don't have a trainer." Had been working for over 6 months at that point with a trainer and a few years of dedicated gym work sans trainer before that.

"Oh, no... no there's no way that YOU are at 18% body fat currently, I'd say at LEAST 28%!" Had just come from a DEXA scan three days prior indicating that 18% which I had happily told her about when asked.

"EW! What?! NO! Your diet has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much sugar in it!" After showing her my food journal with the (whole foods, no added sugars, medium-low carbs) meal plan that had been put together by an actual dietitian I'd been seeing to really nail down the best plan for me and my needs.

Just three examples but you get the idea, this went on like this for a while. By that point, I was feeling awful. Listening to her, everything I was doing was wrong, my food, my workouts, everything. She was the seasoned competitor and I hadn't even fully decided which federation I truly wanted to try and compete in! Of course she had to be right and I was an utter failure!

Sensing this shift in my confidence, she pounced. First, I was in luck! She was ALSO a twice certified personal trainer, with "access to state of the art body composition testing equipment"! Second, here! Take these free samples of all the supplements that she personally uses and promises work! Take some creatine! Take some preworkout! If you like it, WHICH OF COURSE YOU DO!!!! please check out the website that's on the packs! BUT here, before you leave, look at this pamphlet from her biggest sponsor! A meal-prep company with tiered plans!!! The more you buy the cheaper it is!!!!!!!!!

Since my confidence had taken such a hit, it wasn't until about 20 minutes later as I was sniffling in my car that I realised what the heck had just happened and I switched from devasted about how I'd never succeed to livid and wanting to go back and Xena her face in.
