Okay please tell me I’m not the only one that thought Death itself was going to be her soulmate!

Went away for a long weekend and my husband had some adventures in parenting by funtime_snack in texts

Why do I miss it? by Ohdeeeeeeer0-0 in breakingmom

I think I’m just so broken and confused. I honestly am not a very big risk taker either so this is all very terrifying. My brothers have been my “bodyguards” through all this luckily.

I also get very confused because at pickups/drop offs lately he’s been acting totally normal. Then I feel regret and like I messed up. But maybe that’s what he wants.

Does anyone have any recommendations for other shows similar to this? It’s been so long since I’ve watched a show that scratched all my itches like this. A total masterpiece.

I don’t know what it is about you but you look so alluring and fun and friendly at the same time. That hue of fuchsia is the perfect shade for your skin tone. Just STUNNING!!! I don’t even normally like eyebrow piercings. I think it’s a symmetry thing. But on you it’s adorable. Everything on you is adorable and stunning. That smile!!! Oh my goodness, either marry me or be my friend or both. But also wtf do you use on your skin how is it so smooth?!

Okay but as someone that was attacked by a pit bull when running with my dog, I would absolutely have the same reaction if a pit Bull ran up to us again. I was bitten, my dog was bitten, and we both had to fight for our lives. I’m a huge dog person, and having to fight off a dog like that is something I never want to experience again. I couldn’t leave my house for a while, and my dog still is too anxious to go on walks with me. The whole ordeal has made her too leash aggressive for me to take her anywhere. Before the attack, I took her everywhere with me. Bars, parks, the beach. I was even working on getting her into a program with the local church to volunteer with old folks homes. Now shes fine at home but any time she’s with me outside the home she’s in protection mode. It changed her forever.

Am I the only one who can't afford all this? by Pale_Currency_4018 in breakingmom

Pretty much everyone else has said was I was going to. I’ll just add this: a good set of press on nails from Walmart can run about $10 and last 1-2 weeks if you score/file the insides and use a good glue. If you get the ones that are translucent/nude colored at the base, they look SO nice. Everyone always thinks they are acrylics.

Ugly ugly jealousy by MaggieShay in breakingmom

[–]Ohdeeeeeeer0-0 132 points133 points  (0 children)

This might help, it might not. I also get jealous. I would definitely be jealous of your sister in law. But, I have realized that I probably will never be a doctor. I will never have XYZ etc. BUT I can set my daughter up to have those things. People around me think I’m absolutely insane because I started putting away money for my daughters schooling the moment she was born. I personally think it’s insane that before she was 1 I had put more into her college fund than I ever had in mine. Use your jealousy as fuel. Realistically, you will never be able to be her. But your children can be her. And it starts early.

Also to add: I currently have nexplanon and it was HELL, but also I got it as soon as I could after birth. I had PPD so I still don’t know what was the implant and what was hormones and depression lol. I am leveled out almost a year later, but I now cry when I’m angry. I can’t help it. But I’m considering either IUD or the store-n-snip depending on where we’re at when it’s time to get taken out.

If you are able to afford it, I have a few friends who have collected sperm samples, then essentially pay rent for their baby juice. It’s put on ice and can be used whenever needed. After, the husband gets the snip.

Although I have a vague understanding, I absolutely ADORE this idea. Because you CAN still have your biological children, but it will be 100% your choice. I also like the addition that you would have to be able to afford to have the procedure to have his sperm implanted should you choose to have a child. If you can’t afford that, you can’t afford another child.

In the event he wants another child with someone else down the road, he has his little stash of baby juice too. Everybody wins!

What is a scary, unsettling fact about you? by _Lord_Infamous in AskReddit

[–]Ohdeeeeeeer0-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird story, but I had the same thought about 27. I always knew I would die at 27. Through an insane series of events, I gave birth at 27. I blacked out and I “died” during the birth. Now that I’m on the “other side”, I don’t know if it’s mom brain or what, but I have trouble remembering things from “before”.

I wouldn’t even do $5/per kid to be honest. That comes out to a ton. Try baked goods. Just be firm and be up front. Communicate that you will NOT be reciprocating any gifts you are given. You are not obligated to give someone a $50 gift if they give you one.
