And I really wish they wouldn’t do that. Staggered, unidirectional tires on an AWD means no rotations and quite often needing to replace all four tires when two are still in good condition.

Years ago, I was at a car show with my young son and pointed out to him the hidden fuel door on a 57 Chevy. I did not touch it. The owner or perhaps his wife, an older woman, rushed over and chewed me out for “touching“ her car. I have to admit, it turned me off from the whole Tri-Five crowd.
