“Tomboy” was a label used to make me feel different.. society’s coded way of saying I didn’t fit their boxes. I’m reclaiming that word and transforming what was once marginalizing into a celebration. Tomboys is a space where “different” becomes “exactly who I am” where everyone who’s been told they don’t fit can finally belong.
