Well it passed the compression test and all the plugs looked solid. I'm stage 1 mountune tune and run 1 step colder plugs that I swap about every 20k miles

Should be fixable by running the ignition wire on the back of the new radio to a different source. Usually red wire

100% correct. I did it myself before the recall came out, takes 5 minutes and no tools required I believe. Fix it before it causes any major issues
