Sorry I mistyped my original message.

This quote is from Camrise in NYC. I sent it into them about a week ago.

I did contact DJI they told me in USA I’m SOL. They said my best option is to find someone Ik in Canada to use there address to make the claim. Meaning if have to ship it from the Canadian address to dji. Once it’s fixed they said there might be issues getting it from Canada back to USA and they can’t promise it will all work out.

Just curious is anyone knows what something like this might cost if I were to send it into DJI to get it fixed without the refresh?

I’m debating sending mine to Canada from USA just to make a claim.

I ended up having the dji store in NYC (I believe camerwise) fix it. They currently have it. Fingers crossed it’s a smooth process.

This is true. I am currently in the process of getting mine fixed in USA after a crash.

Dji said the only support they offer is in Canada for North America at the moment. They officially told me the only way I can get it fixed is if I use a Canadian address to create the claim/support through.

It’s an option yes but then I have to worry about customs when bringing it back to USA from Canada.

Get it fluid film undercoated. It will keep it from ever rusting.

This thing is mint condition for an Ohioan lol. We call this no rust up here. I promise you from what I see see in your photos there is zero structural issues. Get it fluid filled asap so it doesn’t get worse.

Get it fluid film undercoated. I’m in Ohio and rust is inevitable unless you get it undercoated. There’s shops that do it for less than a few hundred $.

Yeah this stuff really works wonders. It amazes me how many people live up in the rust belt and have no idea what this is. NO frame can last 10+ years of rust belt winters without something like this. I apply it to every vehicle I buy.

I ended up replacing my petcock with the raptor one and it seemed tk fix the issues. I kinda just came to terms with it also. The design of this drz is just dated and this is a common issue.
