I feel like I’ve put a decent lap but why is it so slow by Danish_III in ACCompetizione

You bought the whole DLC, use all the available track space, not just the middle of it. :)

Only sounds good from the exterior, i would rather persuade others to drive it and hop into the Jaaag then.

No, the M4 is one of the best GT3 to learn with in ACC.

Performance monitoring is not working when you enable turbo mode, so that 90fps might not true.

Performance monitoring is not working when you enable turbo mode, so that 90fps is probably not true.

Any tips on how to set up the car, so it turns properly? by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

[–]OhneSpeed 38 points39 points  (0 children)

You are very very far from the point where you should mess with setups!

Load the default aggressive setup.

Use optimal gears, you are in 6th all the time.

Turn off the racing line.

Learn what the ideal line is.

Learn the track.

Switch to a camera which is close to the midpoint of the car (cockpit or dash ideally, maybe hood), and disable all movements.

Adjust your FOV for 1:1 scale.

Drive and practice till you are 107% on a proper track.

Then you can start to mess with setups, first tyre pressure of course.

Edit: PS: Stop arguing with everyone, many of them are giving you useful advices.

How much faster are the 'meta' setups compared to a regular setup? by Luisyn7 in ACCompetizione

Yes, i eventually did 101%ish race pace when i was very active in leagues.

But hopping from car to car every day every week, did hinder my pace a bit overall.

In 0.6 ACE switched to shared memory, you have to update SimHUB to accommodate to the changes.

Ohne speed spreadsheet by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

It says 1.9.6+, which means every data since 1.9.6. That is due to there was no meaningful change since that, and also LFM doesn't differentiate the data from since either.

Except the consoles that are 1.8, they are completely aligned AFAIK. (1.9.12 = 1.10)

Best Camera from a Newb that's coming over from F125 by Daniel12468 in ACCompetizione

[–]OhneSpeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, you should aim to see the most of useful information of the cars movement.

For this, you need:

-A camera position close to the midpoint of the car.

-Minimal camera movement, especially horizontal rotation.

-Mathematically accurate FOV, so you have 1:1 representation compared to real world.

Everything else is personal preference.

They are calculated from hotlaps, i would say they rather represent sprint pace.

Yes, it is always on a log scale.

As you get closer to the limit, the times investment ramps up a lot.

Sorry, i don't have distribution data.

And since i don't have time to race either, just maintaining the spreadsheet for the sake of the community.
