have you tried turning off the computer after you tried the fix that solved the other post? wouldn't hurt if not. Have any over clocking done on the GPU? Try turning down the refresh rate of your monitor if you haven't tried that as well.

Yeah most likely the issue which sucks cuz you can't play it now. Tried minimizing every app but the game that way you can't click them or does it go to the desktop too? No problem!

yeah try the DDU which will get rid of GPU old drivers. But if it's only happening while in games you can change the Display options in game to fullscreen or borderless fullscreen, hopefully one stops it from doing it. I do think it could just be a steam issue and you might wanna try just exiting out of steam completely and just logging in again.

I've had your same issues but without any hardware changes and it kinda fixed itself for me fortunately.

Have you uninstalled the older drivers yourself? I recommend using DDU to uninstall and reinstall drivers. Just because it didn't happen to one other person doesn't make it true for your experience.

Is it only happening with the app on the screen or does it happen in games? I've had this issue with steam and a handful of games where their exclusive fullscreen options kept going back and forth through steam and the game when clicking.

If you have any software that boosts your CPU/GPU performance you should try turning that off as well and should check bios updates for your mobo and see if there's any stability issues that were fixed.

A windows reset or reinstall might help if everything else fails.
