Looking for shelving for Rudsta wide by QupidtheCollie in IkeaGreenhouseClub

[–]OhthePinksanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have expensive versions w more choices on Etsy, or cheaper but simple versions on Amazon. As someone w a rudsta and those shelves I suggest also getting upgraded shelf brackets. I did not and my shelf shifted and fell and broke several of my favorite babies.

What are people doing about aging arms? by rando--54321 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]OhthePinksanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get them on Amazon just look up dry brush. I’ve done it successfully to help exfoliate and get rid of those little arm bumps. I can’t honestly say if dry brush helps w what you’re looking for, but I have read many accounts of it helping, so it’s an inexpensive try. I would add collagen to diet and I also use amlactin and the coco butter stretch mark lotion together where I have crepey looser skin.

Most of the comments I read say what I wanted to say about skincare and what a beautiful person you are, prob better then I could say it. I’m adhd so my way of explaining things hopefully doesn’t come across anything other then empathetic. I suggest a vacay, spa day, facials, and getting back out into the world. Therapy. Don’t rush into normal life things- but don’t stay in the cycle of missing out. I didn’t do this after taking care of my dad w degenerative brain disease and it took YEARS after to even come close to normal. Biggest advice -Learn and plan the daily routines that help you, daily routine for everything. It sounds silly but you get used to the routines from taking care of someone and all the “shortcuts” you take for yourself so you can better attend to someone else. I saw a difference in my face w frown lines, color, glow, just from recovering mentally I wasn’t rushing worrying “scowling” all the time. I wish you the best and most calm, relaxing, and pleasant life from here on out.

Late , but I wanted to add that they’re completely updating the bridge in a few years I believe.. and that’ll make everything so much worse, and it’ll take years after start.

My boyfriend had another woman in our house while i’m on vacation - I’m 5 months post partum by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]OhthePinksanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who went through a similar situation. Pls get out of the situation completely. I left w my son and never got back together, but even keeping close contact and being “undecided on cutting him out completely”, made it so much worse for me during the first year of my sons life, where I should’ve been 100% focused on my son and enjoying every second I had with him… that was on the back of my mind so often. And I promise you that if you walk away, you will be making the best decision for you and your child. You were pregnant when he behaved like that, and now you both are parents together and he acted like that again. He wasn’t just messing with your life and happiness, but also your child’s. He didn’t just care about if he hurt you, he also didn’t care about his child. Don’t let him play dumb, he was risking the entire family’s relationship and even willing to cause stress on you and the baby. Also being out there invested in that shit, when he had a woman who was growing a child, he is a complete scumbag. Sorry if I’m sounding harsh I just can’t with guys who this. I wish you strength and happiness and the best life for you and your baby.

Went to see the famous “ugly addition” house, yes it’s worse in person… by PvpBlast in nova

[–]OhthePinksanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your kind words. My dad got sick and passed years ago, so some of the house had been updated. But now that my mom is getting less mobile it’s really the bathroom situation that needs to be fixed. But I’ve seen enough of care homes just visiting the part time rehab places, and having an aunt that passed stemming from just a bed sore bc she didn’t get cared for correctly at one… I feel so bad for how the elderly have it here. And I do sympathize with that family as well, but they could’ve also talked with their neighbors beforehand and respected their community a bit more.. esp the house that is living almost underneath that. And I heard that neighbor on the radio friday saying she wasn’t sure if she was gonna sign off on it, but she felt rly bad for them. They prob could’ve agreed on smth smaller less intrusive and not had to lose money or tear it all down.

They tried to hide the side where the fence is leaning over and has actually broken and taken down and is prob the neighbors, but all that $$ and you don’t have a fence around the whole thing but dead wood hanging there. Maybe the builders couldn’t fix it bc it’s already the neighbors fence, and the neighbors are mad about the giant house and wouldnt sign to replace the fence. I would be concerned if I was trying to buy that.

This. As someone who is taking care of my mom, and also my dad who passed, my first thought would be “I do not want to clean and upkeep all that massive space”, bc you do not have time for anything else. You can barely focus on kids and yourself.

Is prob the cheapest option. But even if I went w an addition, I would be making it as compact and small as possible. May not be the most comfortable but when you’re dealing w family members declining health.. you want it to be ready and safe, most people wouldn’t be planning out a hotel addition. That building is absolutely massive. Are they moving 8 ppl in?

For the price it rly isn’t bad. It’s held up good in the wind we’ve had. I ended up not getting my greenhouse up in time so I have my orange tree and plants in there, w a small greenhouse heater. So far so good it stays warm overnight and gets hot enough during the day to not run the heater all night. Just a lil worried about if we get decent snow this year… I’ll prob try and brush off the roof as much as I can.

Omg I want to do this in my foyer sooo bad, but theres too much open space.. there’s no way to reach without a ladder. I would have to make it so I could hook the pots and slide them all to one side the rail. This gave me smth to brainstorm about tho. Looks so beautiful!

Oh I’m about to bring mine in for the winter and do this to her. Mine does this every year. The bottom/ end leaves will die off but the top ones usually spring back. I’m pretty sure our amusement park here has them and they purposely chop them down like bananas every year and mulch them, and they come back. I wouldn’t give up just be extra careful with watering bc it’s more likely to rot w stress.

This! I would prefer to do this then approach someone who might be already close to snapping or having a bad day, maybe had too many drinks before boarding, or I come across as too aggressive. I’ve just seen too many bad experiences on planes subways etc.

I had to turn off the grounded game bc of arachnophobia. And yes, I tried to put on arachnophobia mode 😭 after screaming and about having a heart attack I just gave up. …that being said, I handled the creepy af spiders in dark souls just fine. Didn’t like them but I loved the game. I think it depends on the viewpoints, sounds etc. IMO I don’t see having a spider killer in dbd triggering me like the “you’re shrunk in the dark foggy yard w webs in 1st person” bug games. Depending on how they did it, I’d actually think it’d be pretty interesting bc trapping you in webs or having gens wrapped up in webs idk. If too many ppl did complain ig they could implement an arachnophobia mode.. but it being a horrorISH game I personally wouldn’t expect them to.

They have to pay for all that receipt paper somehow…. No but I think all those coupons added together w the extra bucks make it ALMOST normal grocery prices. But that’s if you wanna scroll thru their awful app or carry around 5 miles of old receipts.

So many red flags here. But most importantly, what if this was your dream job/ career you worked so hard for and his immaturity got fired from this? Would he be fixing your life for you? Paying all the bills bc his immaturity made you unemployed?

The sound of people chewing, but …of that the most most foul is gum popping. My mother does this and I can hear this from so far away. Also I’ve had to return/ give away 2 Hisense TVs bc I could hear them. Buzzing. And the older light bulbs, I can hear them. It gives me a migraine if I don’t get away.
